The tour is held in the medieval Prison Tower, located in the very heart of the picturesque ancient town of Castelvetro di Modena. It is the only Balsamic aging tower open to public tours. The main square of Castelvetro di Modena, where the tower is situated, boasts a breathtaking view over the hillside of Modena. Our company is a small family-run production, and our vinegars are made according to the ancient tradition. We want to share our passion and respect towards the history with our guests. This tour is the best way to get acquainted with the story and the production method of the authentic Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, to taste the different agings of this unique product and to discover both classic and the most unusual ways to use it! At the end of the tour, in fact, you will get a chance to taste different agings of Balsamic Vinegar both purely and in combination with four different qualities of chocolate, some of those winners of prestigious international competitions!

Our Acetaia is located inside a medieval Prison Tower. It is a unique location since it is the only Balsamic Vinegar aging tower in Modena open to public tours. The view from the tower is breathtaking. It overlooks the main square of the town and the endless hillways of Modena.
