Overview

We are a team of local watermen sharing and teaching people about Moorea's Wildlife. We specialize in respectful and close wildlife interactions. We have been making lifelong memories since 1984 !
Our eco-friendly tours are based on respecting our environment and the animals we encounter.

Our tours are 3 to 4 hours long and will allow us to observe and swim with humpback whales and any other animals present at the time.

Each tour ends with a snorkeling stop with sharks and stingrays on a sandbar. This is a great swim for everyone to enjoy.

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

Our whale watching tours include : swimming with humpback whales , dolphin watching, snorkeling with sharks and stingrays. Snorkeling equipment and floatation devices are available on board if needed.
If you want to swim with whales, we require strong swimming abilities and snorkeling experience. It can be an easy to moderate effort on most days, but it can be more challenging at times depending on ocean conditions and whales behavior.
Passengers who cannot get in the water with whales can enjoy the show from the boat as well.

Let me first say, the excursion was good and the staff very friendly and well informed. Unfortunately Tripadvisor does not have a "good" so I give an "average". You need to be aware that the boats are small and you can only sit side ways. This makes the viewing of the wild life a bit awkward. Yes we saw whales, maybe 2, but as we decided not the swim as the current was strong, we never got really close. The other guest on board who went swimming really came close to the whales. So if you think you don't go for the swim, dont book this excursion as with the boat you dont get close. THere we also a lot of other boats and sometimes it felt like a race, of who got to the whales first. After the guests on our boat had the chance to swim, we went back to the lagoon and we were able to swim and snorkel here. This was beautiful, but again there were a lot of boats and other people. ( and yes, it was probably caused by the fact that there was a cruise boat. ) Again, the staff was really lovely. Pick up was in time, and I dont have any complaints, but it did not meet my expectations.

Just perfect, even if the weather was rainy. Super friendly crew, good group atmosphere and even the whales who want to show off! Swimming next to a whale and its calf is absolutely breathtaking. Special mention for the guides: safety for swimmers and for animals... top level. A very great moment.

Wow - what an experience!!! Three days from the official end of season, rough conditions, intersecting with whales on the move .. and, still, Jesson and Teui knew exactly how to position us to make it happen! A close encounter of the kind we'll never forget! Two thumbs up .. way up!

Truly, this was one of the best experiences I have every had. Swimming with the whales, a mother and her baby, was incredible! Jesson the captain and owner, and Teui the guide, are amazing and their skill and knowledge is spot on to get their guests the best whale watching/swimming experience. I highly recommend Moorea Expedition and Mauruuru roa for everything!
