We took 4 grandchildren ranging from 1-5 years old for the afternoon and kept them entertained for 3 hours. They loved the dinosaur display and participated in the accompanying supervised art activity. We loved the wetlands walk, searching for the letters along the way that made up the magic word. Fun activities for all in the mirror room, the carousel, the jumping castle, coits, hockey, chess and more. We will be back to try the maze and other activities soon. The outing finished well with craft activities set out in the cafe and an ice-cream for each of them. We all enjoyed ourselves and appreciated the friendliness of the staff.

Badly understaffed & the staff working were doing their best but were very young & overwhelmed. Easter Sunday event was not very well organised. Egg & Spoon race……they couldn’t find the spoons. Easter Egg hunt stared very late and the kids were waiting in the heat, some crying as there was a false start and half the kids began grabbing eggs too early. The train & carousel were $5 a go then half way thru the day were free. We’d already paid for both by that point. Cafe was filthy & chaos, no one cleaning or clearing tables. I cleared a few just to try & help as there were too many flies coming in. Waited 45 mins for 1 pizza, 1 toastie & 2 fresh cheese/tom croissants. After 45 mins we got given the wrong pizza and told to just take it. The toastie was slapped together so badly and both croissants were wrong fillings & burnt despite asking for fresh. We are because by that point we were starving & our 4yr old needed food. Felt this event needed way more staff and a bit more thought……felt money grabbing. The place itself is very tired & lacked safety. It’s not worth the money.
