Never been to Africa? No worries! You are in great hands with this tour company!! This was a trip of a lifetime! Explorer’s Wild Adventures delivered in every possible way. David was our guide and from the moment he picked us up at our hotel the adventure began. One of the very first things he told us was to feel free to ask him about anything- culture, people, politics, education, history- in addition to any questions we might have about the places we would visit and the animals we would see. He was incredibly knowledgeable and we learned so much about Kenya- in addition to detailed information on every animal, bird and plant we encountered on the tour. We selected to take the private option- which was well worth the money as we were able to move freely around the Landcruiser and see animals on both sides of the vehicle. We were also able to make requests, which David happily complied with, during our tour. Each accommodation was more beautiful than the one before it. I’ve watched safari shows on tv (Safari Brothers on Nat Geo) and our experience with David beat every episode! We saw every animal except the leopard and the elusive black rhino at distances of less than 10-15 feet. We had to put the binoculars down because we were too close to need them!! The only thing that we would do differently is NOT book the Lake boat ride- it was $50.00 (USD) per person and the boat was barely more than a very old, wide canoe. It ended up being about 15-20 minutes on the lake and then a walk where we saw animals that we had already seen due to David’s expertise. That excursion should be no more than $20.00 (USD) pp AT MOST. It was the only disappointment of our trip. We recommend this tour company and our guide, David, to everyone! Our children are already looking into booking their own trips!!

We did the masai, nakuru and ambosili safari . It was a excellent tour and a life time experience. Our driver George was a nice polite and a professional. His 25 years exposure helped us a lot. He managed to show us the big 5. And other animals. His driving was perfect. We strongly recommend any National to choose Explores Wild Adventures for the Kenya tour and make sure to ask the driver George at all times.

The whole experience was amazing, our tour guide George, ensured that we saw the big five, including the elusive leopard. Their attention to detail and communication was excepcional. The lodges were gorgeous with stunning views and excellent service. After a long game drive, it was the perfect place to rest. A huge thank you to the entire team.

Our tour was 6 Days Camping Safari in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli National Park, plus an additional Nairobi city tour for 2 days at an extra cost. The communication all along was smooth and precise. The company offered us many suggestions and alternatives and helped us to customize our Itinerary perfectly to our choice. We were a group of 8 people and arrived at the Nairobi airport at different times. Our pickup was arranged properly without any concerns. We were received by our captain/driver and tour guide David at the airport and right from the beginning he made us feel safe and comfortable. We had opted for a 4x4 Land cruiser, which was just the right fit, but the boot space in the Jeep is limited so its better to carry soft bags instead for large suitcases. The 2 days Nairobi city tour was good and gave us some extra time to lose the jet lag and catch some good city vibes. Recommendation from Nairobi - the Giraffe center, Nairobi National park and the carnivore restaurant. The trip to Masai Mara National park was great. We were able to see the Lion, Cheetah and Leopord all in the first 2 days. In Lake Nakuru we saw the Rhinos. In Amboseli we saw Lions and Elephants. The Lodges - AA Mara Lodge in Masai Mara was good. The rooms were big and clean. Limited but good options at Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. Only issue was the shower which was very slow and we had to waste the water for 10 mins before we got some hot water. Sentrim Elementa Lodge was awesome. The rooms were big and clean. The food was excellent. The staff was very friendly. I recommend this lodge to everyone visiting the Lake Nakuru area. AA Amboseli Lodge was okayish. The rooms or tents make a lot of Noise during high winds. The shower was very slow. The food was bad. If possible look for a better lodge only in Amboseli. The Masai Village visit was not worthy of our time or money. Lake Naivasha Boat safari + Nature walk is a good deal. We enjoyed it. Thank you David for showing us Kenya in your own way. We will cherish this trip forever.

We had the best time on Safari with this company. David worked really hard to make sure that we saw as many animals as possible. We saw Lion pride, that literally walked past our jeep. We also had many Elephant families with their babies walk across the road in front of us. It was magical. We got to see all of the big 5.. It was an incredible experience. We were extremely lucky that we found this company. It's really important to them that our experience is the very best it can possibly be and that is very rare. David. We loved him! seriously so knowledgeable, funny and overall genuine person. He spotted animals that we thought were hiding and we would've missed great photos without him. He even waited for us to get to our plane safely on our last day in Nairobi. Thank you guys!!! Huge shout out to David.
