Taste at a Boutique Winery set in the world famous Gimblett Gravels

Learn about the region, how, why, and what Wines are produced in what is regarded as the “Premium Wine Region in New Zealand”.

We aim to taste at the oldest Winery in New Zealand. Here you will learn about the history dating back from the 1830’s in Lyon France

Finally finish at an Ale House or Brewery
You will finish the tour with a small souvenir, and a souvenir Wine glass (if you taste at the Mission Estate).

All tastings, admissions and all drinks advertised are included in the tour price. Free door to door service within Napier on the day.

1 - Boutique Winery set in the Gimblett Gravels Wine growing region

1 - Boutique Winery in Sheep country and apple orchards. Here they produce Natural Wines. You can enjoy a local platter while tasting their unique Wines. This was N. Z's very first vegan winery. Fantastic wines.

- Taste at the oldest Winery in New Zealand

- Finally enjoy 3 drinks at an iconic New Zealand Ale House

We were picked up on time by our wonderful hostess Terri. What a lovely lady. She was a wealth of information about Napier and the wineries. First stop Mission Estate, then Pask Winery (delicious) finishing at yet another winery. Then on arrival back to Napier we stopped at Good George brewery for some delicious beer. It was a very enjoyable day out and a lot of fun.

Fantastic tour, our very knowledgeable guide Teri, gave us lots of background information on the area and the wineries. Highly recommended, includes a pickup and drop off as well.

An exceptional, informative, and amusing afternoon provided by John, a really great host for whom nothing was too much trouble. The wineries we visited were scenic, and the wines were varied, and how much you enjoy them depends on your taste. Everyone on the trip thought at least two or three out of the tens we tried were exceptional. What better way to finish the day than beer and pretzels.
