Overview

Travel back in time to the 17th century, when the Maharajas used to rule all over Rajasthan. By visiting the Palaces and Forts of these ruling families, we will make you feel how it was to live during these golden times. You will experience the unique camel rides and lavish parties, and feel like a Maharaja yourself when overnighting in charming havelis. From birthplace at the City Palace, to tomb (such as the Taj Mahal), relive the greatness of these ancient rulers of India. A private certified guide will take you through this journey.

What Can You Expect?

Day 1: Delhi

Your driver will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel. If you are already in Delhi, we will come to meet at you at your hotel. Then your driver will take you for a tour of Delhi's highlights: Akshardham temple, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus temple, Birla temple, Monkey temple... Overnight in Delhi. Your hotel: Suncourt Yatri

Day 2: From Delhi to Mandawa

In the morning transfer by road to Mandawa, in the Shekhawati region. Here you can have a walking tour of the old havelies such as the Murmuria Haveli. Also visit the Mandawa Fort. Overnight in Mandawa. Your hotel: Paawana Haveli

Day 3: From Mandawa to Bikaner

Today we will take you to Bikaner. Visit the Junagarh Fort. Then visit Deshnok, whose greatest attraction is the temple of Shri karnimata also known as "Rat Temple". Overnight in Bikaner. Your hotel: Hotel Sagar

Day 4: Bikaner to Khuri

Today leave for Khuri. Halfway visit the Pokaran Fort. Arrive in Khuri and go for a private camel safari and stay overnight in sand dunes under the night's sky. Overnight in desert

Day 5: Khuri to Jaisalmer

Today go to Jaisalmer. Visit the Trikoot Garh Fort perched atop the Meru Hill. Also visit Gadi Sagar. Overnight in Jaisalmer. Your hotel: Hotel The Royale

Day 6 From Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

Today go to Jodhpur and discover the old city center, its Clock Tower bazaar, the Umaid Bhawan Palace... Overnight in Jodhpur. Your hotel: Mandore Guest house

Day 7: Jodhpur sightseeing

Today visit the Mehrangarh Fort (including Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal). Also visit the Jaswant Thada and the Umaid Public Museum. Overnight in Jodhpur. Your hotel: Mandore Guest house

Day 8: From Jodhpur to Jaipur

Today drive to Jaipur. On the way, visit Ajmer and Pushkar. Then continue your journey to Jaipur. Overnight in Jaipur. Your hotel: Anuraag Villa

Day 9: Jaipur sightseeing

In and around Jaipur visit: Amber fort, the old town and its monuments, Mirla temple, Palace of Winds, City Palace... Overnight in Jaipur. Your hotel: Anuraag Villa

Day 10: From Jaipur to Agra

On the way to Agra visit the stepwells in Abhaneri. Then visit Fatehpur Sikri. Continue your journey to Agra. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight in Agra. Your hotel: Hotel Atulyaa Taj

Day 11: From Agra to Delhi

Today visit the Taj Mahal during sunrise (in case this day is a Friday and the Taj Mahal is closed, you will visit the site the previous day on sunset). Next, visit Agra Fort and Sikandra Fort. Then drive to Delhi where you will enjoy more sightseeing. Overnight in Delhi. Your hotel: Suncourt Yatri

Day 12: Delhi sightseeing

Today will be dedicated to Delhi visits: Red Fort, the Jama Masjid Mosque, Chandni Chowk, Qutb Minar ... We will then take you to the airport for departure, or to your place of choice inside Delhi

My wife and I probably had our greatest ever round trip in a foreign country thanks to our driver Sunder who has been amazing from day one at the airport, until the end. Sunder has always been very welcoming, friendly and helpful during all our trip in Rajahstan. Liana and him have been very careful of us each single day, making us feeling like queen and king during our wonderful journey. We haven't known a better organised service like the one they provided to us and are still very thankful to them for everything. We definitely recommend Sunder for his amazing service, help and always positive attitude if you think of travelling through DI. Thank you very much again Sunder and Liana for having welcoming us in your beautiful country like no one has ever been welcomed. Regards and good luck!

Our trip was just fantastic. From the begining, I explained the places that we (my wife and me) wanted to visit, how many days we stay in certains areas and what I didn't want to do. Everything was well organized. I just wanted a driver and the hotels reserved. Lots of visits were proposed but, only we decided. Our desires were very well respected. The driver Sunder was just exceptional, polite, always at time with a very clean car, careful driving and worried to know if evrything was going well for us. I told him to take us only to local Indian restaurants for food and to stop rather often in small tea shops, to have a tasty Masala tea by the side of the main road. He contributed a lot so that our stay could be a success. This was my first visit ti India, wife had been there before (2 times). We will definitely return. Our hotels were good. the mandore guesthouse in Jodhpur, was the best. Our trip was : Delhi/Mandawa/Bikaner/Jaisalmer (3 days) Jodhpur (2 day)/Pushkar/Agra and back to Delhi. Hope to be back next year

I had a wonderful trip in Rajahstan using Driver's India. Everything went smooth and without any surprise. Sunder, our driver, kindly showed us around and drove safely during the whole trip. I recommend this company and this particular driver

We had a great round trip through Rajasthan. we were welcomed by our driver sunder at the airport. Our driver sunder made the trip an unforgettable experience. we were always welcomed friendly and helpful. our questions were answered in great detail and we always received good suggestions or tips in the individual cities. the camel safari was the absolute highlight due to the unforgettable starry sky. the hotels were generally quiet and well equipped (we booked comfort hotels). The round trip was a good mix of sightseeing, recreation, leisure and car rides. the car rides were always very pleasant due to the extremely good driving style of our driver sunder. we always felt safe. We would recommend the tour and especially our driver in any case.

De retour de notre voyage en Inde, nous voudrions vous remercier pour l’organisation de celui-ci. Il s’est déroulé suivant ce qui était prévu et a répondu pleinement à nos attentes. Nous voudrions plus particulièrement mettre en avant la qualité et le professionnalisme de notre chauffeur : Sunder. Il a été chaque jour prévenant, prévoyant et rassurant. Très bon chauffeur, il a pu nous mener, dans ce trafic compliqué, aux lieux de visites et aux hôtels dans les meilleures conditions. Fin connaisseur de toutes les villes du Rajasthan, il a pu à chaque fois répondre à nos souhaits. Bref, il était bien plus qu’un chauffeur. Nous ne manquerons pas de recommander Drivers-India à des amis qui souhaiteraient découvrir votre pays et leur conseillerons de demander d’avoir Sunder comme chauffeur ! Paul et Myriam
