Chand Baori, also known as Abhaneri Stepwell, is one of the deepest and largest stepwells in India. It was constructed in the 9th century by King Chanda of the Nikumbh dynasty, and it served as a water reservoir and a community gathering place. The stepwell is an architectural marvel consisting of 3,500 symmetrical steps arranged in a precise geometrical pattern, leading to a depth of over 100 feet.
