I’m a single female travelling alone so was a bit apprehensive about leaving friends and going on this tour but I shouldn’t have worried. Everything was exceptional from the diver, to the tour guides, to the food and the hotel :) When I booked the tour operator text in advance to confirm all the details, pick up time and driver details. I’d been in India for a week already and nothing had gone smoothly so I was very pleasantly surprised with how easy and efficient everything was. My driver, Prem was so so good. He stayed with me for the duration of the trip - his driving was second to none which meant I always felt safe and his English was excellent. He pointed out interesting places and monuments throughout the journey and had interesting facts along the way. He even helped me find some gifts for people going out of his way to help. Prem was always on hand when we finished in each location with cold water at the ready which was greatly appreciated. When we arrived in Agra I met my guide for the day, Tony. He was great, informative and lots of fun. He knew all the best spots for photos and he helped my take so fab shots, that went down very well with my friends on Instagram. Tony took me round the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort in Agra which were both breathtaking. I never felt rushed and also wasn’t left hanging about. Tony was very knowledgable on both sites and made the whole day really enjoyable. There were three shopping stops in Agra, which I’m not usually a fan of but on this trip I brought some really beautiful and individual things in each store. The lunch on both days was included within the trip and on each day the food was delicious. Both lunch stops were in clean as friendly restaurants which a good standard of wash facilities as well. When we’d finished in Agra we drove over to Jaipur, Prem drove me over to see the Amber Fort all lit as he explained we’d miss seeing it like that the next day - he was so right it was beautiful and I’m so happy he took me to see it even after he’d driven for 4 hrs, it was such a special sight. The hotel was a good standard, clean and comfortable. We arrived at 9pm so I just ate in the restaurant which was nice but expensive in comparison to standard India. In the morning I was collected by Prem and the next tour guide, Vijay who again was very nice and knowledgeable. He was more than happy to take lots of photos for me and I absolutely loved the Amber Fort - a place not to miss! Overall I thought this tour was fantastic, well organised and definitely worth the money. I was looked after so well and would highly recommend. This was the perfect trip, especially if you’re short on time as you get to see so much in two days.
