We booked this tour with 4 star hotels through TripAdvisor and were very happy with all of it. It was very well organized, we didn’t have to worry about a thing and had nice guides at all the places. The guides were knowledgeable and very good at taking pictures of us. We even managed to see 2 tigers at ranthambore! Our driver, DK Sharma, gets a special mention here for driving us very safely in the hectic Indian traffic. His car was always kept clean, he was on time and provided us with drinks. The hotels we stayed at were all amazing. Thanks a lot to India pacific tours for an awesome time!

March 26 - April 1, 2020. We had a delightful time with Mr. K K.! He is a wonderful driver! The city traffic is similar to Manilla Philippines, no specific lanes. He did a great job, but his skills really shown when we got on the highway and in small towns - cars, tuk-tuks, buses, motorcycles, and trucks randomly drive toward each other on the road - no division of lanes for oncoming traffic. Pigs, cows, dogs, monkeys and goats wander into the streets, cross highways and cause general pandemonium on top of vehicles. Mr K.K. got us through perfectly - we had total confidence in him. His car was immaculately clean and he always had chilled bottle water and soft drinks on the road for us. He was punctual always. His sense of humor is delightful! And most amazing of all, he met us with a bouquet of 2 dozen red roses for me! It is a tight schedule with virtually every moment dedicated to learning about the 17th century through 1974 royal family dramas and the palaces the kings and queens built for their own aggrandizement. Fascinating!

KK was the best driver! Navigating safely around cars, trikes, buses, cows, etc. Driving in India is crazy! No one follows the rules - but KK was masterful! He took us on a 5 day voyage and was very punctual and kept the car very clean! Ask for KK!

I had the pleasure of joining this trip for 5 days after a short business trip in India, and wish I could have stayed longer. As a solo, female traveler I was unsure of the safety of such trips, but I’m so glad that I gave India and Pacific Classic Tour India the benefit of the doubt. PCTI is in my experience a very serious travel agency that you can trust. I never felt unsafe at any point and the service this tour provided was fantastic. I pretty much only had to show up in the morning and then everything else was taken care of. Everything running super smooth from start to finish. Ravi is an extremely polite and respectful person and a very comfortable driver. Always on time. With a friendly smile, he helped me find good restaurants, spice markets and helping out with all requests and questions I had. It was no problem to tailor the agenda to my needs and requests. Visits to craft shops were optional and I did not experience any pressure to purchase anything. The car was clean and of good condition with complementary water at all times. The general driving pattern of India is crazy, especially in the city, but the speed is not that high and Ravi was a very safe driver. Between the cities there were some surprisingly decent highways with little traffic making some of the travel distances very comfortable. With the assistance of Ravi’s free WIFI I actually managed to do a lot of work on all my longer travel distances. In each city we visited some great sites and the guides were very knowledgeable. The guide in Agra was maybe not picking up on my interests and spent a lot of time on describing names of people and places rather than perhaps being able to tell the good story. The two safari trips were good although we did not see the tigers. There were some other animals and the adventure of going on a safari and trying to spot the tiger was a joy regardless. I am bit unsure of the safety of the vehicles used since there were no seat belts provided and nothing to protect our heads if the car would have tipped over. We were passing through some very steep and narrow passages, and on one of the trips the driver ang guide actually decided to go off track, which was not allowed. They obviously did it to help us spot the tigers, but I question whether this was worth the risk. We were extremely close to the edge off a river basin, and could easily have been involved in an ugly accident if some loose stones would have slipped. Comparing this safari to previous safari experiences in Tanzania, Uganda and Sri Lanka, I think the guides should have spent more time on providing more information about the national park, the tigers and their way of life, the other animals we saw etc. I had to ask for such information and they were mostly occupied with finding the tigers - speaking in Indian to drivers of other safari vehicles without translating and giving us much updates. I booked 5 star hotels and enjoyed all stays. Sawai Vilas in Ranthambhore were especially great. Located outside of city center with quite and nice, green surroundings. The staff were also extremely helpful and service minded. All in all my visit to India has been exceeding my expectation. I highly recommend PCTI and Ravi’s services. I also recommend the 5 day tour over the 4 day tour as it was very nice to not have to pack up and spend hours in the car to Jaipur after coming back from safari no. 2 at 6:30 in the evening. On a side note: It is sad to see the major problems of air pollution and waste that India is suffering from. I feel bad contributing to increased waste as a tourist since it does not seem like the country have proper waste handling facilities. PCTI should look into how they can contribute to develop even more sustainable tourism going forward.
