Taj Mahal is a beautiful monument located on the banks of River Yamuna. The monument was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal who died while giving birth to their 14 th child. It is believed that more than 25,000 people worked for 22 years to build this monument. It is built with white marble bought from Makrana, a town in Rajasthan.
Taj Mahal comprises a center tomb with four minarets on each side. The graves of Shah Jahan and Mumtaj Mahal are located at the center of the tomb. Due to its beautiful architecture, the monument is listed among the Seven Wonders of the World, and to celebrate the love of the Emperor and his wife, the monument is also called the Symbol of love.

Agra Fort, popularly known as the sister monument of the Taj Mahal. Agra Fort was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar as the capital of his empire. It also served as the residence of the royal family. Post-independence, the fort was transformed into a royal museum. You may find innumerable belongings of the erstwhile empire, including their costumes, jewelry, and armory.

From the beginning, Deepak took care of us. We came downstairs a little late and he patiently waited for us. We then drove to Taj Mahal and along the way he gave us history of the area we were driving through as well as the history of the Taj. He continually made sure we were comfortable during the tour including calling for a golf cart so that we wouldn't have to walk too far. He speaks English and Hindi very well and was also comical during the tour providing humor and enjoyment. There were many guides outside offering to take pictures of us but we declined and Deepak became our personal photographer, capturing each special moment like a professional. We then went to the fort and gained more history about India and ended with nice shopping at local shops as well as lunch at a reputable restaurant. Tour was organized by Shantam and his team and everything went like clockwork! I had a manager visiting from the US and was really concerned that everything be perfect on the trip to Taj Mahal - and it was, thanks to Shantam! Shantam managed to organize everything the night before, and ran like clockwork! Driver arrived ahead of time to fetch us from hotel pickup in Gurgaon. Car was spotless and driver offered wifi hotspot as soon as we entered. Careful driver, took the toll road so drive smooth, and he stopped for a quick refreshment break en route, perfectly timed! When we arrived at the Taj, Deepak, our guide for the Taj, met us - ready to guide us (and take ALL of our photos!!). His English was perfect and he was super at getting us through all the queues and to the beautiful Taj Mahal! He is also an expert photographer - all of your Facebook profile photos will be taken care of, in all of the supermodel poses! After our tour of the Taj was over, and Deepak has made double sure we had enough photos, he was very understanding to our needs - we were tired and wanted something good to eat and a beer or two. Driver took us to a fab restaurant where we had delicious butter chicken, cauliflower and breads. After that we were ready for home - again a log journey on the expressway. Our driver was nice enough to stop off at India gate and rajpati bawan - all beautifully lit up. We stopped for a walk around India gate and he patiently waited for us to return. He dropped us off at the hotel and that was the end of a wonderful trip to the Taj! Hassle free, great guide and wonderful car and driver. Thank you Shantam!!!

I am delighted to express my joy about my latest trip, there are many heritage tours such as tour in Agra packages you can get on the internet but I was fortunate that I chose Treasure Trip India for my excursion. It was a comfortable 4-hour ride from Delhi and upon arrival, I was taken to the prolific Taj Mahal which looked astounding from the distance and I was impressed with its picturesque appearance. The sightseeing tour continued with more iconic palaces such as the Agra fort. This was one of the best cultural tours I have undertaken in a long time. I will be suggesting Treasure Trip India to my peers for this beautiful experience.

My wife and I have always wanted to witness the magnificence of the Taj mahal. We were unsure how to reach there and were searching on the internet for a reliable tour and travel service.
