This was my third time at the museum. My husband and son had never been, and I wanted my son especially to see it since my father was a WWII veteran. There were three exhibits we didn't get to see because so much has been added since my last time there (8 years ago). But we did get to see the ones I wanted my family to see. It is an amazing and awesome tribute to those who gave their time and their lives to preserve our freedom. If you go, please make sure you can spend at least one day, preferably two, in order to see everything.

The museum is so well done and there is soooo much history and information. It would take days to do it justice, but we enjoyed the hours we spent there. It is a sobering place that instills a lot of thought.

An incredible experience. Everyone should visit. Be sure to also see the movie. It was a good reminder of what our country/soldiers sacrificed.

This museum is definitely for someone who is a military history lover as it goes over each and every battle that the US fought in WWII. I love history but it was just a bit too much and a little repetitive. I also didn't like the way that the museum was laid out. They had volunteers everywhere because it was easy to get lost. I felt that the D-Day exhibit should have been with the Road to Berlin exhibit but they were in completely different buildings. That said, the 4D film, "Beyond All Boundaries" was amazing. It was about 45 minutes long and gave a solid overview of the war, from the home front to both the war in Europe and the war in the Pacific. It's not a cheap visit so I only recommend it for really big military history fans.
