Visiting famous sites and being given information on them in advance was the highlight of the tour. Brian, the singing tour guide was great, knowledgeable and entertaining. Overall the hotels were good and close to restaurants or supermarkets as well as having microwaves in the rooms for self catering. Our experience at the La Quienta Inn at Delawanna was very disappointing with blocked drains in the room, and we had to move rooms late at night then there was a dog in the adjoining room barking. Also the breakfast facilities were inadequate to cater for the number of people on tours. We enjoyed the trip and it covered everything that was outlined in the itinerary.

Amazingly entertaining fun! I guess no one does Christmas better than New York. Though crazy cold, we could still explore the city and see all attractions, plus the Radio City Rockettes Broadway was a cherry on top!

The trip was good . However I was disappointed at the last minute just before anticipating that we would now be traveling to finger lakes which was an itinerary on the trip last minute we were told be there tour guide we are unable to do so as there was an event in the area .

All things considered, the tour was well organised and enjoyable. My 5-day tour was broken up into two legs, with two different tour guides and tour groups. I enjoyed the first leg (Watkins Glen, Finger Lakes, Niagara Falls, the strip at Niagara, 1000 Islands, and Toronto) more. In large part coz of Niagara Falls— totally breathtaking!— but also coz the tour guide was better, and the group was more respectful of punctuality compared to those on the second leg of the tour. The second part of the tour (Philadelphia, Amish county, Washington DC) was tainted by tour mates who were almost never punctual (which compromised the itinerary), a smelly and dirty bus which reeked of poo (i suspect someone did a no. 2 on the bus toilet despite being advised not to do so), and an itinerary that included a little too much shopping (that was at the expense of more sightseeing and also time for museums). Also, on the second leg, due to unforeseen circumstances, there was a last minute hotel change from one in Alexandria, VA to another one in Cheverly, MD. The hotel was good. But i was not sure it was in a salubrious and safe neighbourhood. However all things considered, i would still recommend the tour. Though had I known the second leg would be less than ideal, i may have opted for the 3-day tour (i.e. the first leg only) and forgo the second leg.
