Stop At: Zuccotti Park, Liberty St., New York City, NY 10006

Zuccotti Park is a privately owned public space in Lower Manhattan in the middle of the Financial District. The Park was occupied by the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) Movement, a protest movement of thousands of mainly young people that began on September 17, 2011. Zuccotti Park was its field headquarters. The main objectives of the Occupy Wall Street Movement was to place on the national political agenda the critical issues of economic inequity, greed, corruption and the undue influence of corporations on government—particularly from the financial services sector. The OWS slogan "We are the 99%" refers to income and wealth disparity in the U.S. between the wealthiest 1% and the rest of the population. They used Civil Disobedience to get their point over. The movement was brutally suppressed by the City and the State of New York.

St. Paul's Chapel is one of the oldest and most historically significant buildings in the city — indeed, it is the only colonial-era church still standing in Manhattan.

SURVIVOR TREE

A Callery pear tree became known as the "Survivor Tree" after enduring the September 11, 2001 attacks at the World Trade Center. In October 2001, the tree was discovered at Ground Zero severely damaged, with snapped roots and burned and broken branches. The tree was removed from the rubble and placed in the care of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. After its recovery and rehabilitation, the tree was returned to the

Memorial in 2010. New, smooth limbs extended from the gnarled stumps, creating a visible demarcation between the tree’s past and present.

Today, the tree stands as a living reminder of resilience, survival and rebirth.

The New York City One World Observatory & the 9/11 Memorial are a couple of America's most Iconic man-made monumental attractions, to both nationals and foreigners. They encompass a tremendous historical legacy, from the transformation of New York City's lands settled by American Indians to today’s astonishing forest of skyscrapers and the raising of this ultra-modern behemoth from the ruins of the original World Trade Center that was destroyed in an attack by foreign militants on "09/11", an event that is still swirling in controversial theories yet it has changed the world political landscape in dramatic ways.

First off, the person that we met to receive was nice and had excellent communication. He worked with us since the day of the visit the weather was horrible. The next day was better. He was prompt and at the specified location. The OWTC Observatory experience was decent- staff very disorganized and non-existent. The ipad they gave where bulky and overkill. Nice technology but really could do without. To top it off unruly High School kids need to behave and shouldn't run around the observatory. Otherwise the views are great, but the glare of the windows don't make for nice pictures.

The tickets were delivered in a timely manner- tour operator was flexible with the weather (rain). The actual experience was ok, the One World Observatory employees were very disorganized and really didn't explain or guide you properly. The skip the line portion was good, but otherwise very disorganized. The tablets as part of the experience was useless and lots of fluff. I wouldn't waste your money on it. Also when high school groups are there, they tend to be unruly and detract from the overall experience.

Bellissima esperienza vista spettacolare di tutta New York.
