Do not book this tour. We did not get picked up at the destination despite being there early. When I called the tour company to enquire I was told « you cancelled ». Which I did not. I had not even told them my name so how did they know who they were speaking to. I had read another review that said the same happened to them but did not heed their warning. Beware!!

We were not picked up at the departure point even though we arrived early and waited an additional 15 minutes past the departure time.

The trip was longer than expected! Very good, not rushed. Only 4 people on the tour, so it felt personalized. Our driver, Carlos, was very good, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. The trip exceeded our expectations!

We had a really great time. As a New Yorker myself, I felt the the tour was perfect for my visiting family, and it even contained things that I didn't know about NYC. The 'best kept secret in town' was really special and I will definitely have to go back :) Our guide was so friendly and knowledgable of the city. We all had a great time exploring and learned so much. I think this tour is the best way to see all of the important sites in the city. Having the opportunity to get out and check out the sites up close was really special. I will definitely recommend this tour to my friends when their families visit.

Excellent tour, the route took in all the high points, and there were plenty of opportunities for us to get out at each stop and take pictures, etc. The guide (who described herself as a local New Yorker born and bred) was knowledgeable and entertaining, as well as very kind and friendly - she took lots of pictures for us as a family group and shared a lot of personal anecdotes, recommendations and so on. As we were only a small group, the vehicle used was a minibus, which was comfortable, clean, and air conditioned. One stop was at Eataly where we stopped for a bit longer to buy coffee, cannolli, etc. - very tasty and an unusual addition to the route! Would definitely recommend this tour as a much more personal option than the big-name hop-on, hop-off bus tours with pre-recorded audio guides. Valetours specialise in Spanish speaking tours, but when you book you can select English and then you get an English speaking guide. Thank you for a wonderful tour of New York!
