If you would rather be active than susegad in Goa, try kayaking down the Chapora River. Konkan Explorers offers a two hours kayaking sessions that start at Morjim-Chopdem and are suitable for beginners and experienced kayakers.

Gliding through the calming waters of the Chapora River that are fed by the Arabian Sea, we spot egrets, coucals, kingfishers, and many others. If you are curious to understand and experience the mangrove ecosystem in a close encounter, you can choose this experience.

What Can You Expect?

The session takes place in the Chapora river. The starting point is from the Konkan Explorers’ base in Morjim-Choprem. This activity is open to beginner and intermediate levels. A team of instructors will guide the guests in their discovery. Light snacks and beverage included.

    Great expirence Ealy morning kayaking on the river with great and kind hosts. Would recommend to anyone in the area ad a great activity before it gets too warm

    We took the 3 hour adventure package on Chapora river with my family, with ages ranging from 5yrs to 75yrs and I must say that they all had an amazing time .. The yatch was very clean and their food items were beautifully displayed, life jackets and equipment’s were for all ages, the washroom was also very clean and functional, the pop up tent was super thoughtful for the women on board to change, the team was great with the kids making them super comfortable and assured to jump into open waters and there was no rush to do anything.. Thank you KE for giving us a memory for keeps and making our holiday special ❤️

    We’ve done 2 trips with Konkan explorers so far in the last 1 year. One was mangrove forest kayaking and other open water swim and private yacht. Both these times, our experience with them and their team was just so wonderful. The entire team specially Glefi, Kamran, Vikram, Raghu - so professional and paying attention to the slightest detail always. On one of the trips my parents accompanied as well who were slightly unsure about coming on the yacht earlier. But these people made sure they took care of everyone on the boat like their own, making everyone so comfortable and engaged according to their respective age and comfort whether it’s a 7 year old or 70. Everything about them - their professionalism, timing, services - just perfect. We’re already looking forward to the next one now.

    Glefi and her team are a truly remarkable and professional lot. It was a morning very well spent with the Konkan Explorers team. They're a bunch of professionally sound and very well natured nautical explorers. The kayaking trail followed by snacks aboard the floating raft was a very nicely organised exercise. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family. A must do in Goa!!!

    Absolutely amazing experience! The trail was scenic, the instructors were helpful and fun and the snacks and beer made up for all the hard work!
