I reserved the tickets through We Lanka a couple of weeks in advance. I was a little worried as they seemed to be sold out everywhere else, and this was the only place I could book them. But the communications were very good and reassuring over WhatsApp, and I got sent the tickets in the early morning of the day I was to travel! I got the class and seat I asked for (second class and window). Picking them up at the station was very easy too. Overall very happy with the service!

We hadn’t been able to reserve tickets ourselves, but these guys were able to sort for us. Collection of tickets was straightforward and communication was great and facilitated by what’s app.

This is a must-do when in Sri Lanka - with incredible views throughout the entire journey. We got to clearly experience different climates and landscapes in 7 hours, as the train snaked up and down the mountains from Ella to Kandy. We had reserved 2nd class seats and were impressed with regards to comfort, cleanliness and service on board. Third class was busier but looked comfortable and super well maintained as well, in case you’re doubting which ticket class to book. We Lanka Tours arranged our reservations and delivered the tickets to our hotel on the day of departure. Communication was excellent at all times!

Really happy with the service, as a solo traveller it was easier to pay someone to secure train tickets than try and get them myself. The reserved seat made the whole journey much much easier. Delivery process was straight forward and to the door. And the train ride was fantastic :)

Process was really easy and effective, would really recommend! I was able to enjoy sitting in 2nd class reserved with a guaranteed seat and enjoy the views from the open windows.
