From the time we got there to the time we got it the water everyone was so amazing. Walter and nacho very friendly and informative and helped us have a great time on our dive. The reef and ship were so pretty.
Nacho and Kevin are too cool for school. 10/10 boat ride out and back, 10/10 dives down and up. If you haven’t already heard, Nacho and Kevin are radder than the mad hatter. 🗣️Kevin and Nacho! 🗣️Kevin and Nacho!
The crew was amazing and my newly PADI certified diver (my 16 year old) was so excited for his first real dive and Dive Oahu did not disappoint. Heather did a one on one dive with him and he had a blast with her. He said the whole crew was fantastic. I received a bunch of fantastic dive photos Heather captured for me. I was not on the trip but all the photos are wonderful.
My fiance and I love to dive together and after much research we decided to book 2 days of diving with Dive Oahu. The process was seamless and the equipment was all new - not to mention the BEST dive boat we’ve ever been on! Our guide and team (Colton, Nacho, Heather) were super communicative and kept eyes on our group the entire time. The deep dives were really exciting and the wrecks were super interesting to explore and even swim through at certain points. We saw some great sea life including huge turtles and / shark. When and if we come back to Oahu, we absolutely hands down will dive again with Dive Oahu!
Recently went to Oahu, Hawaii for the first time and only had one day to get some diving in. I booked Dive Oahu based on a recommendation from the hotel where we were staying. Having adventured in many parts of the Caribbean with different operators, I have always checked secondary sources for information and reviews. Everything I read pointed to a solid dive operation. I also decided to get my Nitrox certification on this trip. I email back and forth with the shop with questions and got timely responses and quick answers when I had to call with a last minute paperwork snag. Based on a recommendation from a local dive buddy who recommended diving the YO-257, I was hoping this would be the stop for the first part of the wreck and reef dive. Unfortunately, the boat didn’t go to that wreck but dropped us on the Sea Tiger instead, which was absolutely wonderful! I is one of my unforgettable dives filled vibrant marine life. Colton's infectious enthusiasm added to the excitement as the group chatted about what we encountered on the Sea Tiger. Ami, who was my Nitrox instructor, kept keen eye on myself and my buddy as we swam effortlessly through an array of tropical fish, their Heather's calm demeanor and skillful diving techniques enhanced the camaraderie of our group, fostering a sense of shared adventure beneath the waves. The second dive was on a place called The Pipe. It is a decommissioned sewer pipe. Dropping down the mooring line, I was struck by this large pipe adorned with sponges and a white sandy bottom. We swam about 50 yards past the pipe to a reef which again was teaming with tropical fish and marine life. Some of the reef was bleached BUT there appeared to be new life and new growth on the reef throughout the dive. From Nacho's expert guidance to the camaraderie shared among Colton, Ami, Heather, and the rest of our dive group, each moment was another opportunity to the beauty and wonder of the ocean depths. Without a doubt, Dive Oahu met my expectations and I would dive with them again on my next trip to Oahu.
