We were staying with family in Oahu so we drove ourselves to the airport. The scheduled time was two hours before the flight boarded- which was frustrating for a 4 am start to a morning. Once we got to Kauai there was no signage for the tour and the bus did not read Poly Adventures, which was frustrating for the people/guide and us alike. The tour was very traditional on/off with 10 minutes at each stop. The guide was funny and definitely loved her job! The helicopter tour was amazing and the pilot was fantastic! Took a very scary experience and made it fun! Definitely the highlight of the whole day- I would recommend skipping the bus (unless you like traditional) and keep the helicopter!

I had really looked forward to a great tour but ended up very disappointed. I was at the designated pick up location 10 minutes before the scheduled time (5 AM) and waited for 25 minutes. I returned to my hotel and then received a phone call telling me they were late, so I had to return to the pick up location. Upon arrival in Lihue, there was no one there to meet the tour group and we had to wait around until they finally showed up. Fortunately I had bought a bottle of water, because there was no opportunity to either get a snack or something to drink until lunch time The tour guide should have informed the group and allowed them to buy snacks and drinks before leaving the airport. The guide did not do much narration, instead we were shown videos of different movies and movies sites on the island of Kauai. Lunch was adequate. After lunch, the person I was seated next to threw up four times for some unknown reason. The last part of the tour was a helicopter ride to see the Waimea Canyon and Na Pali area … this was the best part of the tour. Upon return to Honolulu, I had to use the rest room, when I came out, the transportation had already left, and I had to get my own transportation back to my hotel. In short, the tour got off to a lousy start and ended up abandoning me. I cannot recommend this tour to anyone.

We were picked up at our hotel in Oahu and take to the airport to fly to Kauai. All was good, but we got there 2 hours before our flight and it took 5 minutes to get through security. The tour guide picked us up at the airport fairly quickly after we arrived and we spent about half a day driving around looking at locations where movies had been made on the island. It was really cool to see the places up close you see on the screen. The drive was very knowledgeable about the island and locations, and they showed clips from the movies when we got to a location site. We barely made it back to our helicopter flight because traffic was so bad near the airport. We immediately took off and had a wonderful helicopter flight around the island. We got back to the helicopter base at 3:40 and they immediately took us to the airport 2 minutes away. We had to sit and wait 3 hours until our flight back to Oahu. There were 3 other earlier flights, but Hawaiian airlines doesn't let you go standby for free. I have no idea why the tour company booked us on such a late flight unless it was cheaper for them. They really need to manage their time better.

incredible i actually wanted to stay on the island of Kaui, and not return to Oahu. Started off with a movie tour watching the scenes and then arriving at the destinations shown. Lunch was divine in one of the local places. The helicopter tour was incredible i wouldn't know how to describe it or even interpret what we seen along the Napali coast.

Overall a good experience 4 out of 5 stars:
Excellent: the Helicopter tour was one of the best experiences in my life. Great to see Napali coast and Waimea canyon from above. Recommended!!!!!!!!
not good: the land tour. They put you on the movie tour you just stop at locations where movies were directed in the past
