Escape, Sail and Relax with a day sailing charter.

Discover the stunning beauty of the Bay of Islands onboard our spacious 40ft catamaran. Take in the amazing scenery as we set sails and make our way out into the Bay of Islands. We will anchor up in a bay only accessible by boat for a 2 hour island stop.

Choose how to enjoy your excursion. Explore the island with a walk, swim in the clear waters, test your balance on our stand up paddle boards or experience an underwater adventure with a snorkel. Enjoy a tasty catered lunch on our beanbags upfront before we cruise back to Paihia.

Includes: Packed Lunch, 2 hour island stopover, Snorkel and SUP usage.

Sail out from Paihia and along the Bay Of Islands coastline and take in the scenic views.

We will anchor at a beautiful bay on one of the islands that make up the Bay Of Islands. Here you can take a scenic island walk, enjoy some water activities (swimming, snorkelling and paddle-boarding) before having a tasty packed lunch.

Relax as we sail back to Paihia in the afternoon.

We had a fab day, Monique and Brad looked after every detail, very attentive and friendly. The Catamaran was comfortable and sailed beautifully.

This was the perfect outing to share with family or friends. Brad and Monique were friendly, accommodating and helpful, especially with the older adults and 4-year old in our group. Motorua Island was such a special place to visit -- an exclusive insight into Bay of Islands that not many get access to. Communication was great regarding dietary needs for the lunch provided. A relaxing, beautiful experience all around!

Spent a days charter with Bayscape Charters - Brad and Monique It was such an amazing day, the highlight of my Bay of Islands holiday. We saw dolphins, a shark and a sting ray. They were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and tolerant of a big group. Lunch was a packed lunch but very yummy. Id recommend them highly.

During a recent visit to Paihia, we spent a delightful day with Brad and Monique on a cruise in the Bay of Islands. It is the couple's own business, and they obviously take a great pride in it and in their vessel Hibiscus Star. They also obviously enjoy their sailing and providing enjoyment for others. The sailing on our chosen day had to be cancelled due to low booking numbers, but Monique kept fully in contact with us and, with several days' notice, offered a suitable alternative. Everything during the day ran smoothly in a very relaxed way and without any fuss. There was, however, quiet attention to every detail - welcome, safety briefing, ensuring comfort, quietly facilitating at every stage what individual customers needed or wanted, engaging in a friendly way with customers, and looking after their catamaran, as well of course as actually sailing it. The weather for our cruise was superb, but there was not much wind initially. The outward journey was under engine power, but the return was under sail. Points of interest and sightings of wildlife were pointed out. At the stop in a bay on one of the islands, there were possibilities for swimming, snorkelling, and paddleboarding or walking on the island. A simple but very tasty packed lunch was provided. Lunch boxes were clearly named as the contents varied according to dietary requirements. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and thank Brad and Monique for the personal attention they give to us as well as to everyone else on board.
