My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing trip, weather was perfect, sea was very calm, friendly staff and the skipper was awesome ~ he spoke to us all about the history of the Bay of Islands, was very interesting. Going through the hole in the rock was so special - we also saw seals sunbathing on an island, another highlight was seeing five dolphins up close 🐬 A 90minute stay at Otehei Bay for Lunch and walk was a magical place to relax & chat to other passengers. Also seeing the amount of huge scnapper down by the wharf. We were celebrating our 20th Wedding.Anniversary in Paihia, and doing this lovely cruise was top of our list to do ~ most enjoyable, informative, beautiful views, great sightseeing adventure ~ was a perfect day!

Even with the weather against us, it was very rough, we had an amazing time and felt reassured by the professionalism of the staff. We didn't get to go through the hole in the rock but it was still great.

After boarding in Paihia, we were taken for a tour around the Bay of Islands, on our way up to the Hole in the Rock. Thankfully for us, the conditions were right for us to go through the Hole twice, which was fantastic. It was a unique experience, made all the better by the knowledgeable team.
