Day 1: Hike from Petra to Gaa’ Mriebed – 24 km
Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa, Petra - Wadi Musa, Ma'an Governorate
Starting in Petra, you'll turn off the main trail leaving the tourist crowd behind while still being in the larger historical Nabatean settlement of Petra. You'll head south, past the Sabra Amphitheatre, and mostly downhill until you reach your remote campsite tonight.

Day 2: Hike from Gaa’ Mriebed to Wadi Al Saif – 15 km

Today you'll continue hiking south and through the rural desert mountains, rocky valleys, and past oleander plants

Day 3: Hike from Wadi Al Saif to Wadi Gseib – 14 km
Pass By: Wadi Araba Desert, Jordan
This route continues south through stunning wild desert mountains and desert valleys. We'll pass a cluster of mountains as we head down to reach our camp near the Jordan Valley.

Day 4: Hike from Wadi Gsieb to Wadi Aheimar – 16 km
Pass By: Wadi Araba Desert, Jordan
Colorful canyons, rock formations, beautiful vistas, and fun sand dunes accompany today's hiking route. Your journey today has a mixture of up and downhills and ends at a beautiful location for a campsite.

Day 5: Hike from Wadi Aheimar to Abbasiya – 25 km
Pass By: Wadi Rum, Wadi Rum, Al Aqabah Governorate
The last day of the trek! You will face a long-gradual ascent as you hike up the mountain and out of the Jordan Valley. Later in the day, you'll reach the desert plateau in the Wadi Rum area.
Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
Upon reaching the Bedouin village of Abassiya, we'll take a jeep transfer to Wadi Rum!

Day 6: Wake up in Wadi Rum
Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
Wake up, well-rested, in the stunning and serene Wadi Rum desert. Red sand dunes, sandstone mountains, and rock formations can be expected in this protected area.
The tour ends here. Some people like to carry on to Aqaba and the Red Sea, some travelers want to go directly to the Dead Sea, while others prefer to head straight back to Amman. We are happy to arrange a private extension for you or to help you with what to do next.
