We found it on TripAdvisor and it was amazing. 30 minutes turned into an hour so knowledgeable so much fun we couldn’t recommend it more highly.
We enjoyed two fantastic experiences with PortoLocals: Port tasting with Adriano and a walking tour with Gregorio. Both highly informative learning experiences and very entertaining, the events made us appreciate the tastes and views of Porto more than we could have expected. 5 ports were paired with different food to enhance the flavours including sweet & savoury. Adriano explained the history, wine making process & the differences. Gregorio who is highly knowledgeable on history culture & architecture. He took us to lots sights around the historic area including San Bento station, town hall, bookshop, English quarter, Parisian street and more - about 2.5-3 hours. We also had time for a coffee break. We started and ended the walk at their venue which is very tasteful, modern & central - a great starting point for the walk & nice venue for tastings. The warm welcome brought sunshine to our rather rainy visit, so we will be back again - highly recommended 5*.
Best wine tasting experience. André was a great person and super professional with us. In addition to his in-depth knowledge of wine production techniques, we really enjoyed the fun facts. I recommend him 100%.
