This was a very enjoyable tour. The views are breathtaking. Our driver/guide, Hernan, kept us entertained and informed all along the way from Porto to the Douro valley. We got to learn a lot about wine, wine history and industry, about the work which is done following traditional methods hundreds of years old. We tasted regional wines and authentic Porto wine, spent a gorgeous hour sailing along the Douro river, where every shade of green is present, and finished having lunch and more wine at a very old quinta. By the time we finished eating and tasting aged Porto wine, we managed to get to the very comfortable van, and Hernan, quite awake, took us back, sleepy, safe and sound back to our hotel. It is worth mentioning that among the many tours we've been to in Portugal, this is the only one which did not require much walking, and especially, not climbing steep hills.

We had a great time with Sarah, she is fun and amazing. This was a family trip and we had a blast, wine tasting was great and it was a beautiful view. We love Portugal and Durocher valley and the boat ride.
