Two of us took this all day boat trip, total of 12 passengers. We were in Italy for 9 days and this was the best excursion that we had. This was the all day, 8 hour trip, including a 4 hour stop in Capri. Our captain was Francesco, who was great. The water was beautiful, we stopped to swim at two locations. We saw the Amalfi coast up close, and took a lap around Capri. We had lunch in the town of Capri, found a nice place but the whole island was very crowded. We were all happy to get back on the boat. Would highly recommend this trip.
We had such a great time exploring the different grottos and visiting Capri. It was a long tough walk up to the main town of Capri, but well worth it. Our captain was amazing and truly a one-man show. Be careful if you swim in the grottos though as there are a lot of jelly fish around the Amalfi Coast. Three people got stung in our group. The stings are only about as painful as a little mosquito bite though. The captain gave us anti-itch ointment so everyone was gucci. Great excursion overall :)
Francesco was fantastic and took us around the Isle of Capri before letting us dock at the island in the lovely boat. He took photos of the groups and was a very good seaman steering the boat out in the ocean. Great experience.
I was scheduled to go on this excursion on October 13, 2022. Due to stormy weather the operator cancelled the trip. Trip Advisor advised me of this promptly and told me I would receive a full refund of $583.16 within 3-5 days. No refund was received so I followed up. On December 22 TripAdvisor told me the full amount had been refunded to my credit card and the credit would appear in 3-7 days. I checked with my credit card company and they have seen nothing from TripAdvisor. This matter is now over 90 days old. How do I get my money back?
We hired a car for our trip & travelled from Pompeii to Sorrento in the morning. We had an aperitivo Italian style then drove to Sant Agata where you can see both the bay of Naples & the Amalfi Coast & Cilento Coastline. We headed down to Nerano a small pocket with a beach & 3 restaurants literally on top of the water. Fresh seafood served without frills. Then we headed towards Positano where we parked & walked down to get a coffee. Then another 40 minute drive to Amalfi where we spent an hour taking in the culture & views…and a lemon sorbet 😍
