Overview

This is 3 activities in 1 day. Sail into the underground river by a boat and Experience Ugong Rock caving and have fun with a zipline seeing the view of the Karst mountain. Discover the stalagmites in the cave that look like people and the strange shapes growing out of the wall along with your experienced local guide.

- These tours are community-based. The Ugong Rock is managed by the residents of Brgy Tagabenit, primarily composed of Batak Tribe and Tagbanua indigenous peoples all these are part of the Community-based Sustainable Tourism that the government promotes. The project aims to boost the tourism industry at the same time helping the community by giving a means of livelihood to its local residents and promoting campaign in protecting the environment.

For pick up for hotel outside the city proper but extra charge applies depending on location of the hotel. For hotel in san rafael area, sabang area, binduyan, elnido and all other hotels outside the city center there is additional pick up and drop off charge to be collected on the day of the tour. Please inform us the name of your hotel and location. (Seat in coach - Shared tour not private.)
If you are arriving from cruise ship please inform us so we will book you together with other cruise ship passengers.
For guests staying out of town or outside the main city we will pick up but extra fee will apply.
For guests within the city center of puerto princesa pick up and drop off is free.
If you are interested for a private tour for your group only pls inform us but a different rate will apply for private tour.
You can email the tour operator the name and address of your hotel for pick up request.
Our office is located at D lucky garden inn where the van departs before 7am.

The van was late picking us up (we understand this is a shared tour so some things are out of their control), and when we got to pick up the next lot of guests, it took them at least half an hour to join us (with no explanation why it took so long). The driver was great though. The guide was good to tell us if our footwear were inappropriate so we were able to change quickly before boarding the van. Bring shoes that are able to get wet (i.e. aqua shoes or flip flops). - We had a few stops along the way (view point & cave & lunch spot) but we were simply dropped off and guide did not explain how much time to spend at each location before we need to move on - this could be done better. - The cave climbing was good and the zipline was amazing. Highly recommend the zipline (superman pose!). - Lunch - there was a variety of food and plenty to go around. However, we were just dropped off at this location and the guide did not explain to us what was happening, so we just took it upon ourselves to line up and grab food and tried to find a free table to sit down and eat. Again, the guide didn't communicate with us for how long we are to spend at the restaurant before we have to move on to wait for the boat so we were confused what to do when we finished eating. There were also lots of people (hundreds) so we couldn't tell where our guide was... - The cruise into the underground river was good, great idea to use audio-guide, our guide on the boat was also good. - Tour guide outlined the itinerary at the beginning when bus was full with possibility of visiting a market before ending the tour at 3:30 back in PP, however due to late pick up, long wait for guests joining us at another pick up location, a sick child during the drive (had to pull over to clean up vomit) and lack of organisation throughout the day meant we did not leave the underground river till 3:30 and as we had another tour booked for 5:30pm we barely made it back to PP at 5pm and we were unable to visit market as planned. This was disappointing.

This tour will not disappoint other than the long drive there. It was absolutely fantastic. I would be done at it again the next day it was so good. The underground river was spectacular in the Oregon rack, was like a cherry on top at the end we even had time to do a trip in the mangrove forest near the underground river and saw monitor, lizards, poisonous snakes, hanging in the trees and monkeys And a delicious lunch to boot

The underground river was by far the best bit. It was stunning (albeit a bit smelly) and the activity was run really well by the team there. The audio was informative and they were extremely mindful of protecting the eco-system within the cave which included not talking so it made the experience a relaxing and private one. I personally felt that Ugong Rock and the zip line were a bit of a non-event. Too quick and lacked any real substance. Mol was our guide - very knowledgeable and proud of the natural landmarks of the area and Ali was our driver - felt very safe with him at the wheel.

Awesome guide (Mall) and driver (Ali), who were both really flexible and happy to tailor our tour to suit the group. Although it rained, we had so much fun. A great tour 😁
