The first stop of the tour is in the Bannockburn sub-region of Central Otago. An hour's drive from Queenstown following the Kawarau River. In this beautiful setting you will experience an educational tour of the vines, barrel hall and of course, finish with a beautiful tasting of the wines they produce.

Stop At: Te Kano Estate, 92 Felton Road, Bannockburn, Cromwell 9384 New Zealand

The next stop is on the famous Felton Rd. Te Kano is a sophisticated tasting room located in a beautiful setting in an Architecturally awarded cellar door. Taste 5 of their clean, crisp and delicate wines from Blanc de Noir, Rosé and Pinot Noirs.

Stop At: Bannockburn Hotel - Wine Country Restaurant, 420 Bannockburn Road, Cromwell 9384, New Zealand

Now it’s time for lunch, we then head to the Bannockburn Hotel, a local favourite location not only for the tapas style menu but also their extensive wine list with over 200 wines available by the glass. Here you will enjoy a trust-the-chef tapas lunch all included in the tour.

Stop At: Misha's Vineyard Tasting Room, 182 State Highway 8B (Freeway Orchard Complex), Cromwell 9310 New Zealand

We now head further into Cromwell to Mishas tasting room, this exceptional tasting experience gives you the opportunity to select 5 wines from their extensive list, they offer white wines, rosé and multiple Pinot Noirs. Their gewürztraminer is a local favourite wine and is uniquely different from others in the region with their strong Turkish Delight and Ginger flavours.

Stop At: Kinross, 2300 Gibbston Highway, Queenstown 9371 New Zealand

We start the drive back towards Queenstown, stopping the famous Central Otago wine growing region, Gibbston. Our last location is Kinross, a local favourite and the perfect place to wrap up a day of exploring Central Otago.

Here you will enjoy a relaxed wine-tasting experience and will be offered a selection of wines on a tasting flightboard to enjoy with a shared cheese platter.

The central Queenstown pickup location is the Marmolada Cafe on Camp Street.

We pick up from a range of different accommodations and bus stops. If we do not pick up directly at your hotel, we will advise the closest pick-up location.

After you book you will receive a message from our team to reconfirm your pick-up location and time.

Please be at your pick-up location 10 minutes prior to the departure time provided. Your guides will wait up to 5 minutes after the time, and those that are late and miss their departure will not be entitled to a refund.
