We will show you hidden secrets on the trail and tell you the history of the Queenstown area. You will discover local nature and meet its habitats. The magnificent landscape around Queenstown makes Ride to the Lake Tour comfortable for riding and does not require special skills (You should feel confident on a regular bike).
It's enough for the experienced rider to keep interested but also great for not-so-experienced riders to push themselves and learn new skills.

Stop At: Queenstown, Queenstown, Otago Region, South Island

Ride through a private sheep farm towards a historical Shotover bridge, explore nature and native birds along the Shotover and Kawarau river. Enjoy a breathtaking ride along the lake Wakatipu around the Kelvin Heights peninsula and visit a forest with the local artists sculptures.

    Shay was an amazing guide. He made us feel very safe (our first time on an e-bike) and made the experience a complete joy. I highly recommend doing one of his tours, you will not be disappointed.

    Best way to tour the area around Queenstown. Started this tour in my first day here in Queenstown. The route was perfect. View is stunning. Jordan is so knowledgeable and fun. Very friendly. Definitely recommend. Will do the ride to the Skype next time.

    On March 23rd Tom and Anne from Australia did a Ride to the Lake tour in Queenstown. We had originally booked to do the Ride to the Sky tour. We were glad that we had changed our mind. We had varied scenery, rides through the bush and had several informative stops. We really enjoyed this ride. The provided photos were exceptional. We highly recommend this tour. Not bad for a couple in their mid seventies.

    Shay is the best guide ever! Attentive but allowing plenty of freedom for us to explore. He told hilarious jokes, suggested fun games, and kept the kids motivated the entire time. The bike trail was breathtaking, plenty of varieties and easy to navigate with the e-bike. Definitely the best way to explore around Queenstown. The terrific follow-up photo and video packet was unexpected but most appreciated! Amazing recap video too with the location of each photo. Thank you!!! Will definitely book it again when we are back in town.

    The 3 hour Ride to the Lake is a great outing. The ebikes are very good bikes and even if you have never been on an ebike, you will be taught the handling quickly. Shay and Amber are knowledgeable guides and it is a very safe ride. Definitely an activity in Queenstown that I would recommend.
