We will explore the heritage village of Ushaiqer and learn about its history and see the traditional mud houses and how the people there used to live, and then we will walk through a museum which was established by one of the residents, and have a look at a vast collection of artifacts. After that, we will enjoy a combination of the Najdi traditional food and snacks, before we head to the top of the mountain nearby to see the full view of Ushaiqer.

Abdulaziz is the best tour guide we’ve ever met. He is welcoming, warm-hearted and enthusiastic about his tour job. He is very fluent in English and of course Arabic, sharing all the cultures and news about Saudi Arabia with us, which surely enriches the fun and knowledge of this tour. You can choose your pickup point in Riyadh, it takes about 2 and 40mins to get to the Ushaiqer. In the middle of the way, we stayed shortly at a sandy dune to feel the vibe. And then heading to Ushaiqer to see the ancient city heritage. Abdulaziz is like a walking encyclopedia of Saudi Arabia. Not only lead the way to the history of heritage, but also everything you can see and experience along the trip. In Ushaiqer, we enjoyed a lovely afternoon Arabic coffee during the tour for intermission. And the dinner was classic Arabic dishes. We even get to experience the unique beverage that Arab people have during Ramadan. Let me put it this way, this tour with Abdulaziz provides way more fun than the site information can show. Maybe other tour guides can provide the same itinerary, but the information and introductions from Abdulaziz increased the depth of the tour and made the trip valuable and unique. I will definitely recommend this tour to whom is considering joining a tour in Riyadh.

Really great host! The drive was pleasant and comfortable and I got to learn a lot about Saudi history and culture. The host was awesome - a very nice guy who went out of his way to make sure I had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend!

Beautiful places with an amazing guide! Big thanks to Aziz, who was so kind and patient to bring me to all places I wanted to go, took a bunch of really nice pictures and helped me understand the history and particularities of the places. I was a solo traveller, but thanks to Aziz the trip felt to be in a great company! The car we traveled with was super clean and comfy, Aziz pampered me with some traditional snacks and sweets, which was so kind fo him. Ushaiqer is def a place to visit for those who love ancient history, arts and architecture. You really transport yourself in those old days where people used to live in narrow streets and mud built houses. By the end of our trip we had a delicious traditional dinner in one of the old houses terrace, amazing ! The journey was very pleasant and went so fast! Really recommend this tour!

Really nice tour with Aziz, who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He told me lots about the history of Saudi Arabia and how it got to where it is today. Ushaiqer is a really interesting traditional town with lots of history, and it was really nice to get out of the bustling city - it was very quiet and peaceful. The traditional food and coffee was very tasty. And also nice to visit the sand dunes on the way!
