My wife and I did a combo of horse trek and then clay shooting. We had an amazing time definately recommend. Clay shooting was an awesome experience We would definately recommend for people to do that we even purchased more ammo while we were up there. Think we found our new hobby. All the guides are incredible.

We did the Triple Pass, which I would highly recommend. The 4 Wheel ATV experience up to the lookout was not only amazingly fun but the view!! Also, our guide was immensely knowledgeable about the area and what we were looking at. The horseback ride to the top, although to the same lookout, gave you a totally different perspective, especially on the way down as you went pass sheep and cow right next to you, mooing and bahing at you. The pictures we got were fantastic. Finally the clay shooting! OMG! I have been before but never my wife. We got to the beautiful shooting boxes on the hill and after a brief safety overview we were off. I had NEVER hit a clay before, but have shot guns a decent amount. Thanks to their amazing instructions, not only did I hit 7 clays, but my wife who NEVER even held a gun hit 7 as well! Yes, I know….not sure whether to be proud or embarrassed at myself. 😂 I cannot recommend enough.
The most memorable was horseback riding along the mountainside and seeing the sheep graze along the land. The horses were well trained. The side by side experience was also amazing, driving deep in the forest and seeing the tall native trees overhead and ferns was breath taking. Views along the hill side were beautiful overlooking Rotorura Lake. All the staff members were gracious and very helpful.
My partner and I 💯 recommend adventure playground!! Definitely enjoyed our time out there today (28/05/2023) horse trekking riding on the buggy and clay shooting tour guides were amazing & the owners were lovely!! we had a blast and will definitely be back with our besties to celebrate my birthday in November 🙌
