Sebastian was an amazing tour guide. He is so knowledgeable and told us the history of Salisbury Cathedral which included the different chapels such as St. Catherine’s chapel and Audley Chapel. These chapels were breathtaking but my favorite was Audley Chapel with the stunning architect on the ceiling. We the stopped at Woodhenge and last but not least Stonehenge. Sebastian gave us a history lesson in so much detail about Stonehenge. The history lesson was truly amazing and my sister and I will share our new knowledge with our grandkids. Sebastian went above and beyond his call of duty and if we return with our grandkids we will definitely request Sebastian as our personal tour guide. We now have a new friend in Salisbury!
Sebastian made the history and culture of Salisbury enjoyable and understandable. We felt pleased in everyway.
For our group of 4, we found that we most enjoyed having our tour done by someone who lives and has grown up in the area we wanted to see. Our guide, Steve, was full of local knowledge and history. A breezy cold day so what better than a visit to somewhere open. My wife was struggling with her hip so we took the bus down to the stones a great help as it saved 30 mins in each direction walking. A wonder how they got thee stones there and how they erected them. The exhibition afterwards proved informative. Top tip go early to avoid the crowd
