The driver was great and very helpful. Even though he was not an English speaker, it was great to have him. The tour guide Fairuda was just ok rushing us and not personalizing it at all. We were not impressed.

Delightful experience. Brand new car, friendly and polite driver. Ms Firuza was the guide: knowledgeable, amicable, relatable and patient . Her English was perfect and very easy to follow. She helped me to interact with local people and even we shared some laughs. I gain another perspective of Amir Timur.

The drive to Shahrisabz takes around 2 hours and is one of the experiences. the views of the moutains are spectacular and stunning. We met our guide in Shahrisabz who was very enthusiastic and spoke perfect English. She explained in great detail the history of the town and you can see how passionate she is to host visitors to her city. She had two wonderful students with her who bonded really well with my little son and practiced their English with him.

The driver was on time, but speaks no English. I was under impression that the guide will be with me from the start, but turned out I will meet the guide in Shahrizabz as she is a native of the city. She brought her student with her to practice her English and we made a short video of me and the student conversing in English. It was the cutest thing ever! 😂 My guide Firoza was amazing, she truly is passionate about her hometown and the history, so listening to her story was a delight. She even gave me chocolate, shawl, and perfume as New Year gift and it was really touching 🥺 The tour was short, as most places are reachable by foot, we stopped for lunch and went to the local bazaar and I ended up buying a bunch of dried fruits and nuts. They're so cheap and fresh and tasty! The drive from Samarkand to Shahrizabz was lovely, passing through the mountain and it was covered with snow. The driver stop twice to let me take few pictures. He was so kind, I really wish we can converse more coz I'm sure he has lots of interesting life story. Don't even know his name but my guide says he's of Tajik and Iran descendant. Please do send my best regard to the mister.

It's interesting to know the history. The tour was okay. The driver doesn't speak English, but the guide speaks English well. The guide brought along her two English students and it was fine with me. The drive from/to Samarkand was longer than my actual stay in Shahrisabz. Lunch was expensive.
