Overview

The vine and wine in Sardinia have a history of about 5,000 years; in fact, its strategic geographical position has meant that over the centuries various peoples (Carthaginians, Romans, Arabs, Aragonese, Genoese, Pisans and finally the Piedmontese) conquered it, introducing traditions, cultures, viticultural and oenological techniques still present in Sardinia today .
The food and wine tour organized by the Ape Romantic Tour agency will lead you to the discovery of wonderful landscapes where the most important vineyards and cellars of the Sardinia region were born.
On board our Tuk Tuk we will make a pleasant excursion of about 20 km and we will reach one of these cellars.
Ape Romantic Tour of Olbia thinks of everything, and then will take you to a pleasant refreshment area where you will be served 3 glasses of wine accompanied by a characteristic local aperitif based on cold cuts, cheeses and
olives (the products present in the aperitif may vary).

The tour was great! The food was extraordinary! As English speakers with very little French, it was a little difficult to understand information presented. There was some confusion about the posted meeting point. We were waiting at the address provided for awhile before learning our guide was waiting for us about 150 meters down the hill. It all worked out perfectly in the end!

The information provided for pick up in Olbia wasn't very good, we were questioning the location and weren't really getting much help. The vineyard was good however we were rushed out at the end so unbale to purchase any wine. We asked the tuk tuk driver to help us find a taxi to head back to San Teodoro and we were dropped back in car park of the pick up location and told that a taxi rank was there and is wasn't. We feel the tour company could have been more helpful.

Fabulous tour from start to finish Got a great quick overview of the town and then the winery, tasting and snacks were DELICIOUS!

Complete rip off. We were picked up in a tuk tuk as described. The driver never spoke to us we had to ask her her name. A recording provided only brief narration of small snippets of the city with touristy frank Sinatra singing. The driver took us to one winery outside the city. The winery was wonderful; But frankly we could’ve driven there and saved 200+ euros. It wasn’t worth it and was a rip off!
