It was an incredible journey to walk through the woodlands and valleys of this region of Spain. The people of this sparsely populated region where truly amazing and very welcoming. I turned 65 the day after I finished and felt renewed. Thankyou

Everything we wanted was pre arranged and exceeded our expectations. We chose to have our luggage moved from hotel to hotel and it was so nice to not worry about it. Our luggage was always there waiting for us.

My reservation was cancelled after payment. Not a single message, communication or explanation given. I wouldn't even have realized that the reservation was cancelled had I not checked the status on the website. To make matters worse the payment has not been refunded to my credit card yet. The whole thing makes me question the trustworthiness of this company. Buyer beware.

We are a group of 5 hikers, seniors 60 - 75+. The pace of ~15 km/day suited us fine, for meditation and reflection. Caminoways arranged for us to stay at 3 beautifully restored country cottages along the way. The hosts were most welcoming and served up dinners that were feasts. Our tour concluded with a tapas tour in Santiago, guided by a retired architect who, apart from introducing us to Galician delicacies, also gave us an interesting cultural history of Galicia and the Camino. Best way to conclude a Camino Walk.

I walked the Camino with a friend this fall and loved every bit of the trip. Camino ways booked us into great little hotels and pensions and transported our luggage very efficiently. The two star hotels were quirky and interesting and frequently surprised us with their amazing meals. There were plenty of cafes and bars along the way to keep our caffeine levels up and a beer in the afternoon was a special treat. It was an amazing experience to walk across Galicia, to be so intimate with the land, to take time to experience the morning mist, the wet spider webs, the ground covered by chestnuts. The walk was challenging enough to inspire us to start early each day to get the miles covered while the air was fresh and cool, but not so hard that it was daunting. We split up a couple of the longer days to be a more manageable distance and Camino Ways accommodated that request. I highly recommend the Camino as an active holiday and Camino Ways to look after you. Buen Camino!
