I went on an open jeep safari with my family and it was the most thrilling experience of our life. The driver and guide were great and polite. They wanted to make sure we saw the lions and we did. We saw 4 lions, 2 lionesses and 4 cubs. Gir forest is beautiful and is home to other animals like deer, wild boar, peacock etc. The authorities are taking care of this area very well. It is a must visit for anyone who wants to have a jungle adventure.
