So unusual to be in Fernando's home, and a lovely experience at the top of his building and on his patio facing the cathedral. Wow !! Excellent. His description of the origin of the dish and its humble ingredients was interesting, and he simplified the usual recipe and guidance to a straightforward process to repeat the original Valencia dish. Bomba rice is the secret, but apparently Arborio is a cheaper substitute for non--Spanish, either way, a lovely communal dish to be shared. The 7 of us "shifted" nearly enough for 12, with nice wine, Sangria and company, as well as the setting sun onto the Cathedral's walls. Ohhhhhh....A very personal and special experience, a wonderful evening. Thank you.
Arguably, there’s nowhere you can eat and/or have an experience in Seville with better views. Worth every penny. Fernando has great energy and patiently taught us to make traditional paella (I’ve been making it wrong for years!). Great location, great experience, highly recommend for family/friends.
Fernando the chef was amazing. We had a wonderful evening cooking and enjoying the spectacular view. This was a highlight of our time in Seville. Highly recommend.
Fernando did an excellent job of putting together a wonderful experience. We had three couples and the view of Seville from the rooftop is amazing. It felt like a group of friends gathering for a dinner party. Fernando was good about getting everyone involved and explaining all about the city. The paella and the sangria were amazing and he sent us the recipes so that we can recreate our experience with friends and family back home. Highly recommend!
