Availability for every day, all year round from Catania with free transfers from your accommodation. Guided tour of 6 hours which tells the biology, geology and volcanology of the Etna Volcano. You will have the opportunity to walk in paths surrounded by nature, away from tourist areas and on several dormant craters. The fauna and flora of Etna will be your traveling companions in the story of a unique territory in terms of endemicity. You will live the experience of admiring the fantastic Valle del Bove. Explore a beautiful lava flow cave with helmets and torches. At 2000 mt a great lunch  full of tipical local products will be waiting for you. A fantastic tasting of wines, liqueurs, honey and much more will make you discover the flavors of the Volcano.

I do not recommend. We ordered two pairs of trekking shoes that were on offer - we did not receive them, which resulted in the destruction of our own. There is also no reception from the hotel - when we called to determine the details, no one answered. The guide said the office is closed. Tasting is trying free samples in the shop...

Very well organised trip with a lot of information from the guide Andrea!l …not only about Etna but also about the City of Catania and Sicily. He is a very nice and kind guide with good english.The course of the trip was flexible taking into account the weather conditions. Highly recommend!

If you go to Sicily, especially Catania, you have to go and see Etna, it is a monumental volcano and a feat of nature! Me and my partner wanted to go and do the Etna tour and also vineyard tour but unfortunately the days we went on just didn't suit (plus lockdowns etc). Andrea was our guide and he was excellent, he was a wealth of knowledge and we were very impressed, his English was also incredibly good! Even perfecting some cockney rhyming and other slangs. Tour done entirely in Italian for the other guests (all 7 of us in Andreas Jeep wearing face masks) then English just for us, picked up from our hotel (called Habitat and again would def recommend as they sorted this out for us before we'd even arrived in Italy). We stopped off at multiple places and god some really good views, pictures and information all the way up. At the food tasting we had some local wines, honey, olives, and olive oils - which we purchased some small 100mL vials so we could take home with us to the UK. By the way buy the Porcini or Chilli Infused olive oil it is amazing, better than anything you'll get on the supermarket shelves here in England. We didn't go all the way to the top, but one of our last stops as we went back down we saw smoke and explosions coming out of Etna, so that's likely why we didn't go further up. But the main viewing point we did go to was good enough. Overall this is well worth the money you pay and THE attraction for Catania, you must go and see Etna, have a tour guide like Andrea as you will learn so so much more! Best part of the 4 day trip to Catania and Syracuse for me.

This was a very thorough and enjoyable tour of Mt. Etna. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. We got to see Mt. Etna from several different angles and ecosystems. The tour of the lava cave was very unique. Lunch was fabulous - a plate of appetizers that was very generous and a main pasta dish - delicious. We had ample time to explore the crater before heading back to Catania.

Stunning nature and a lot of information from the great tour guide Andrea. He loves his job and is a very passionate Etna expert. Absolutely recommended!
