*Please note that the PADI Fee (for the PADI Scuba Diver Manual and PADI certification costs) of total 70 Euros is not included in the course fee.

The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. It's the first PADI diving certification. It entitles you to dive together with a PADI Professional to max. 12 m depth.

If you do want to be a completely independent diver and want to dive with your buddy up to 18 m
depth we recommend you to take the PADI OPEN WATER DIVER Course.

Content and Schedule:
The PADI SCUBA DIVER COURSE takes around 2 to 3 days and you have to do the theoretical part (First 3 sections of the PADI OWD Course without exam) for around half a day, the confined water training (First 3 dives of the PADI OWD Course) for around half a day and one day with two open water dives from 8.30 am to around 1 pm.

Very recommend this diving school. I did the open water and then aswell the advanced because i liked it so much. For sure i come back for a other dive.

DivingGuru in Nilaveli by Hans is one of the best Dive Centre I ever dived with around the world. Everything all the way from Diving Gear, Instructors, Behaviour of the Staff, Diving Sites covered, Courses offered and the intellect of the instructors is of point and no less than outstanding. I spend a good ten days diving at the centre and learned different speciality courses here with Eliska , Sophia, Yannis and Norbert. They were really amazing, calm and very Helpful through out the duration. My experience here was full of unlimited warmth and I would recommend everyone to really visit and try diving at their centre.

A very pleasant introduction to the wonderful world of diving. We had a great instructor, who focused on all different aspects of diving. This lead up to us going confident and safely in the deep blue ocean. Worth every single penny. Would definitely recommend the place!

This was a scheduled course for three of my children, all young girls. Their instructor “Ellie” was excellent, with a patient, clearly concise, and intuitive approach to training and instruction. The results spoke for themselves, with a happy family diving trip, and keen interest from all three to continue their diving experiences. The place was well run, with a very clean, tidy and modern feel around the facility. This was also being further developed at the time, for increased amenities. The diving equipment was well maintained also, being relatively new and functional. The dive boats were small, but fast and adequate for the proximity of diving sites. My overall take on the set-up was that there was a keen interest on providing a quality service, and our instructor Ellie was absolutely instrumental in that. Easily recommendable to others.

I’m really glad that I chose to do my OWD certification at Divinguru. Everyone’s very professional and Ellie is the best instructor ever! The dives vere just amazing and I enjoyed every minute, definitely will go diving with them again :)
