We will pick you up at 09:30 where ever you are in Surabaya. That can be the train station, hotel or any accommodation.
Stop At: Madakaripura Waterfall, Sapeh, Lumbang Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, Probolinggo 67238 Indonesia
You will need about 3 hours to reach Cemara Lawang village. It is not the distance, but Java's traffic conditions that will slow you down.
You have time to visit the enchanting Madakaripura waterfalls on route to Cemara Lawang, if you like. After the car parks it is a short drive by motorbike to the starting point of your hike. The hike itself is easy and takes about 30 min. But, you might get wet.

At Cemara Lawang you will have splendid views over Bromo's area. You will be dropped in your hotel, after which you can enjoy a free program or explore the area with your driver. Visit the local area, meet the Tenggerese people, join an ongoing ceremony... And, don't miss the sunset....

Day 2: Sunrise at mount Pananjakan - Sand Sea - mount Bromo - Surabaya / Malang
Stop At: Gunung Penanjakan, Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru Indonesia
Around 03:00 in the morning your Jeep is ready for departure. You will be driven to one of the highest and most famous viewpoints, namely mount Pananjakan. If weather conditions permit you to, you can see the sunrise at an altitude of 2770 m. On clear days, you can also see the highest mountain on Java, mount Semeru, and the Java Sea north of mount Bromo.

Stop At: Sand Sea, Indonesia
Then you will continue the ride by Jeep. You will have to cross the black ashen volcanic Sea of Sand. A landscape of volcanic sand that evokes a similarity to an arid dessert but then black.

Pass By: Luhur Poten Temple, Cemorolawang, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Indonesia
This temple lies in the incredible landscape of mount Bromo. You will pass by when you hike to the top of the active volcano Bromo. If open, take a peek inside.
Stop At: Mount Bromo, Jl. Bromo Km. 3 Probolinggo City Town, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Indonesia
This is it. Indonesia's most famous volcano and certainly one of its most impressive landscapes. The hike to the top takes about 45 min. Stop every now and then to take in the beauty around you....

Once back at your hotel, you can have breakfast.
