Itinerary
Day 1: Surabaya - Mount Ijen
Stop At: Surabaya, Surabaya, East Java, Java
Day 1: Surabaya - Ijen Area
Pick up from your hotel in Surabaya at 9am. Or from Surabaya Airport or Train Station on your arrival time (Recommend to fly in before 12 noon.)
Travel to Mount Ijen area. The journey takes around 6 hours.
Check into Homestay at Ijen area (you can pay additional SGD 30/pax to upgrade to Grand Padis Hotel).
Rest for the day and get ready for Ijen hiking.
Duration: 6 hours

Accommodation included: Overnight at homestay accommodation in Ijen.
Day 2: Mount Ijen - Surabaya
Stop At: Ijen Crater, Banyuwangi 68454 Indonesia
Day 2: Mount Ijen (Blue Fire Encounter) - Surabaya
Pick up from the homestay and check out at 12 midnight and travel to the Paltuding area. (*We will pick you up at 2am if the blue fire is closed*)
Hike for 2 – 3 hours to Mount Ijen Summit.
At the peak, we will be able to see the famous Blue Fire of Ijen. *As the Blue Fire are dependent on the moon light and rain, sightings are dependent on suitable weather. As with other natural phenomena, sightings cannot be guaranteed*.
Finish Mount Ijen hiking by 8 – 9 am.
Travel back to Surabaya City, about 6 – 7 hours driving.
Drop you off at Surabaya Airport / your hotel in Surabaya by 4:30pm.
*If you choose to pick up from Bali (Additional SGD100/pax), this is the route: Back to hotel after Mount Ijen hiking and check out. Take a 1-hour ferry from Ketapang Port in Banyuwangi to Gilimanuk Port in Bali and continue driving to your hotel in Bali. The add-on includes ferry ticket and the car with driver.
