It is not easy to create a narrative around Palestine that is not too bias by the conflict with Israel and all the horrible things Palestinians have suffered and continue suffering, but the guide we had during this tour did a great job. The story he told across Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jericho and the Jordan valley was very interesting and captured our attention. We were very unlucky with the weather - it rained the entire day and Ramallah was hit by terrible winds, but in spite of the atmospheric issues we had, the tour was amazing. Highly recommended, especially if interested in knowing more about Palestinian people, history, nature and cities. The most touching thing, which I highly recommend not to miss, was the Bethlehem wall. It makes you think on how in a world in which we should create bridges among people, there's someone that builds walls forgetting that, as recent history thought us, walls are made to be torn down.

This tour is a must do. There is so much to do and see. It includes lunch, which was one of the best meals I had during this trip.

You must see the West Bank to get another viewpoint of what's going on in Israel. My favourite part was the 2 km walk through Ramallah.
Also first time ever the 'free meal' on a day trip was actually good. We eat in Bethlehem in a local restaurant. The guide was good, but I think he could speak more. There were drives between the sight with long 'dead' periods. He could tell more stories about the West Bank.
Also when we were picked up from Abraham hostel in Tel Aviv we were not briefed where to go next. The driver listened some music during the trip to Jerusalem and at the hotel they didn't recognized our La Vacanza Travel ticket just after a manager came.
So what this tour is missing is more information and more clarification on the road.
The highlights of the tour is the Bethlehem wall and the Ramallah tour, but it is important to understand what is on the both side of the Bethlehem wall

WHAT WAS GOOD: Good value. Good experience. Saw Ramallah, Jericho and Bethlehem. We covered a lot of ground in a very comfortable new coach - but it was well paced with excellent information from our Palestinian guide. We especially appreciate his perspective - which was appropriate to where we were and what we were seeing. Lunch was in Bethlehem and was authentic and excellent. The epicurean highlight was the included stop for Knafeh, a Palestinian sweet, which was absolutely terrific.
WHAT WAS NOT QUITE SO GOOD: The tour was marketed as tour from Tel Aviv limited to 10 people but in fact we were simply picked up in TLV 30 minutes late, driven to Jerusalem, where we joined 20 people on the big coach for the day. At the end of the day we returned the 20 people to Jerusalem, were transferred again to a small van which was dilapidated and without any real AC and taken back to TLV and dropped off. These logistics were not what was 'advertised' and were never explained to us - although there was an Abraham Tours staff person sitting at a desk right beside us for 30 minutes but she said nothing to us. Also we drove from Jerusalem and crossed in to the West Bank before our guide spoke a word to us. This is not his fault, as the Palestinian guides are allowed to talk to the tourists only while in the West Bank. We believe we should have been informed about this either in the written material online or orally by staff, that day.
IT DID NOT UNDO THE VALUE OF THE TRIP: It was a great day with a great guide and bus. The food was wonderful. It was a wonderful opportunity to see a side to the story that we have never seen. We congratulate Abraham Tours for including this West Bank Highlights Tour in their roster. We highly recommend it.
