Discover the vibrant world of cetaceans aboard our Catamaran. We will navigate through the special conservation area, discovering as many species as possible, of the 28 that have been identified in this protected sanctuary. You can also enjoy a refreshing swim or simply relax on board in one of our deck nets while you taste the on-board menu, prepared with local products, and enjoy the natural landscape and its fauna.
If you wish, you can bring your snorkeling equipment.
During the journey you will be accompanied at all times by our crew, who will not only give you safety instructions but will also explain the most relevant aspects of the area and its fauna.

Stop At: Costa Adeje, Costa Adeje, Adeje, Tenerife, Canary Islands

Board our Catamaran and enjoy an environmentally friendly tour along the coast of southern Tenerife and the special conservation area (ZEC) that covers the municipalities of Buenavista del norte, Santiago del Teide, Guía de Isora, Adeje and Arona. The catamaran is based in Puerto Colon, where you will begin to enjoy a relaxing tour with food and drinks included (local products). During the trip we will see different cetaceans, such as the Bottlenose dolphin, Common dolphin, Pilot whale, but also migratory birds that live in this area, Cory's Shearwater or Osprey, accompanied by the explanations of our guide about the most relevant aspects of the fauna and environment in which they live.

We will make a stop at Diego Hernández Bay, commonly known as Spaghetti Beach, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

    Took the family on Maxicat to see some whales and dolphins. They did not disappoint. The staff were awesome and lovely, very friendly and informative. Drinks flowed constantly whilst we were onboard and the food was nice too. We saw pilot whales, dolphins, and a much larger whale. There was an opportunity for a swim at a nice bay, too. I'd highly recommend it for a nice half day out. Kids loved it, too!

    Single mom travelling with autistic 17-year old son with autism, intellectual disability and hyperactity disorder would like to give the best recommendations to Maxicat and its fantastic staff. They immidiately recognized my son's special needs. We got to go on board with the captain 10 minutes before all other passengers. Without me asking the staff helped my son to the best watching spot, helped him down the ladder to the toilets and let him get the kids menue - chicken nuggets and chips, which he wanted. It felt safe in every way. We had a great time on board an ejoyed every minute. And yes, we saw dolphins jumping closely to the boat!

    Amazing time out at sea seeing the whales my son was super excited and enjoyed every minute 3 hour tour with food and drinks all included plus jumping off the boat and swim time was fun too Great day out for the family

    Great experience and an enjoyable morning! Clear explanation of what the morning had in store. Drinks all provided, food provided for adults and for children. We were lucky enough to see both dolphins and whales on our trip! Time to jump in the sea and have a swim too! Staff very polite and accommodating. Helped many who were sea sick too! The one negative would be how many people there are (only because my partner and I have been on a catamaran somewhere else with only 8 of us). Definitely worth the money, thank you!

    This is one of the best things I've ever done it was amazing we got to see some pilot whales as well 😍 it was a 3 hour tour with unlimited drinks and food served which was paella. You even get the chance to swim in the sea as the boat stops for abit. The crew were all fab as well Highly recommend
