Our 6-hour layover tour was with Tony, a private driver, it was great. Tony took us to major sites such as Asakusa Temple, Tokyo Skytree, Ginza, and Shibuya Crossing. He was very knowledgeable about every site and Tokyo in general. We also had an authentic ramen dinner. He also took many pictures of us at the sites as well. Highly recommended!

Expensive. Tour guide did not show up on time. Tour guide was a little awkward and quiet for almost an hour at the beginning. Tour guide was not helpful with transportation tips. Tour guide an asked to if we wanted to stay in Shibuya so that she could show us how to get back to the airport on our own, which gave an impression she didn’t want to properly drop us off at the airport. Tour guide asked for Y1300 for her own transportation, which wasn’t mentioned in the notes when we booked the package. We bought meals and drinks and tipped her well at the end despite the disappointing tour and experience.

Our guide, Fumi, prepared a great itinerary for us on short notice. She gave us detailed information on what to expect upon arriving at Haneda Airport, met us conveniently at the arrival information counter, and then took us out to explore the city. Fumi not only showed us some beautiful and interesting sights, but also explained everything we were seeing in excellent English. She also engaged us in discussions on Japanese culture, history, food, and language. We feel we learned a lot in the six hours we were able to be together. Fumi also took every opportunity to take photos of us and then send them to us at the end of the tour. We highly recommend the TAJ tour of Tokyo and especially Fumi as a guide!

I took the 6-hour Tokyo Transit tour and could not ask for a better experience. Fumi was amazing. She was very communicative from beginning to end, starting way before my trip, learning my preferences and personalize an itinerary that I would enjoy. She was even able to arrange an authentic tea ceremony with kimono for me, which turned out to be my most treasured experience of the whole tour. She also explained many things about the Japanese culture and is so knowledgeable about everything I asked. I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide.

We had an amazing tour with Tony during our 12 hour layover at Haneda airport. We were supposed to go by train but our initial tour guide Fumi was sick. Tony offered us to go by car at a discount which turned out to be perfect. We saw beautiful sites and ate amazing food. We will definitely be returning.
