It was good to know that after such a long journey we had transportation to our first hotel. The vehicle was not ready for the 10 of us so we had to pullover and the driver had to install the 10th seat. Still worth having the peace of mind.

It was very hard to connect with the driver after clearing customs and the car was so small - 2 people with luggage could barely fit.

Communication could be better leading up to pickup, but ultimately the driver provided a safe and reliable means to transport my group from the airport to the hotel. I had reached out to the company days prior to departure to confirm the vehicle could accommodate our large 10 person group and luggage and was told yes; even giving the exact number of luggage. Then hours into prior to arrival I was told we needed a bigger vehicle and WE had taken too much luggage. As you can imagine this caused a bit of stress as we were already inflight (thank goodness I had free inflight WiFi) so I could resolve with the vendor and La Vacanza Travel support enroute. We paid a little bit more in cash on the spot but got everyone to the hotel safely.

Its our first time in japan bit it was made easy by our driver. He asked for our pictures before we landed so he can identify us easily. It was a smooth ride all the way to our hotel. He also made sure we have the right hotel. Very respectful. Highly recommend.

Upon arrival at the terminal, clearing immigration and customs, we waited for over 2 1/2 hours for our driver. We called the 800 number, emailed several times and got no results. We walk all around the area where all the private drivers and tour guides were standing with their signs of the names of their passengers. No driver for us. We went to every information desk and counter at the terminal. The driver was paged three times. No driver. We ended up taking a taxi to our hotel. Never again will we use La Vacanza Travel’s private drivers. Very unsatisfied and VERY DISAPPOINTED!
