this review concerns the driver : such deplorable service and behavior from our driver. It started in the morning by offering us extra services that if we accepted we had to pay in cash without the company being aware. Then at noon the driver told us he was at our disposal but didn't answer us for an hour. He claimed to have been stopped by the police. I sent a message to notify to sluzeb the situation and following this the driver was oppressive towards us all afternoon, constantly asking me to send us a message because otherwise he would be fired. This type of behavior harms the image of your company and we were extremely disappointed with the day which cost us around 100,000 yen. This was supposed to be a moment of relaxation and not an oppressive moment. Edit : the company has been notified and responds that they are taking the problem seriously and are continuing investigations

The driver showed up on time. About 30 minutes later, the car had a flat tire. The “private chauffeur” did not know where the spare tire was located. Japan roadside service showed up and helped changed the tire. Unfortunately, the spare was flat and unusable.. so we traveled on the highway at 10 kmh basically on the rim itself.. waited an hour-ish for another car to continue our tour.. We lost ~ 3 hours of the “tour time”. We paid 100,000 yen for the day.. and were offered 14,000 yen as compensation for lost time.. I asked for 30,000 yen since the tour was supposed to be for 10 hours. Seemed like a fair ask. Was told that this was the best offer and to contact TripAdvisor for a partial refund. Took the 14,000 yen and emailed TripAdvisor for the rest.. La Vacanza Travel denied the request.. Why can’t people do what is fair?? And btw.. the “tour” is a non-native driver for the day.. no real knowledge of the site you are going to.. just a driver.

Irfan was our chauffeur. He was very polite and answered all questions we had. The pick up and drop off at our hotel were worth the cost. Irfan got us to the first destination right as it opened. Here's a tip: get the tea ticket and enjoy. Irfan navigated the crazy traffic and streets very well. Each stop was impressive. Be warned: there are a lot of stairs. You don't have to walk up the stairs if you don't want to, but wear good shoes if you want to see everything. Irfan got us into each location then let us explore what we wanted at our own pace. Perfect for my group. The weather could have been better, but that's nobody's fault. I would not hesitate to book this or another tour from the same company again.
