We really enjoyed this retro food tour. Lots of little info along the way. Quirky food spots. Great tastes. We wouldn’t have found these spots on our own. The guides were great & we had a bag of laughs with the Australian folk! Thanks to all.

Informative and fun tour with Josh and Norma! Learned a lot about the back alleys of Shibuya and had tastings of Japanese bites and ramen. The tour stuck to the retro theme which was fun. Walking through the streets and learning tidbits about Japanese culture was the best part. Entertaining and unique - would highly recommend this tour for first time visitors and for people who just moved Tokyo. We also added the Karaoke after this tour which was a blast!

We did the Hidden Gems tour in Tokyo with Yappy and Mai (sincere apologizes if I messed up her name) who were the real hidden gems here. OMG! They were so much fun! What a wonderful experience. We started our night at a little at a little bar with all you can drink barrel of various beverages. Had an appetizer of Wagyu Beef Sushi, with a few options with unique starters. Then we moved on to a Saki bar and tried 4 different kinds of Saki and sampled some snacks unlike anything else I've ever had. Next, we moved to a small place with more drinks and skewers. Finally, we wrapped up our night with Ramen that used a shrimp-based broth...SO GOOD! The food and company were wonderful and the tour and education we received along the way made for a very enjoyable evening. I can't say enough good thing about this final night in Japan. What great way to end our trip.
