I went with my wife, she was hesitant due to a previous quad biking experience where the guide was impatient and angry. This was certainly not the case in this trip. The guide RJ was very kind and patient and the tour has a relaxed feel about it. One great thing about being on electric scooters is there’s no loud noise from engines so you less likely to frighten animals away. We had an amazing experience with baboons and a wonderful tour in the forest. The other bonus was how relaxed and flexible they were about timings. Overall I would highly recommend
Quite an average experience really. Good fun on scooters, but nothing to see at all. And 2 of the scooters in our group of 6 continually broke down.
This experience was terrific! We have a kid with special needs and needed a tour operator who would book us a private tour during peak season. They helped us immediately. Matched us with an amazing tour guide who was calm, patient, gentle and observant about our kid's needs. With some extra training, our kid managed to do it by himself. Thank-you!
The guides were friendly but what the website promises during the experience is entirely different to the reality, there are no rock pools to swim in or cliff jumps to so what so ever. It is merely a drive through the forest on dirt road.
Do not support this business. We were scammed!!!!! The sales person misled us into believing that they have Segway scooters. We made our booking for 16h30. Upon arrival we were advised that they only have scooters and not Segway scooters. I told the sales person that he misled us and that we wanted a refund. He said that he is not authorised to give refunds as it is not his business. I then asked to speak to the owner, but the owner was not available, we tried to phone them but could not get hold of them. I went to the police and they accompanied us back to Mild to Wild. The Sgt. asked the sales person to refund us as we paid for a service and did not receive the service. The police also tried to contact the owner to no avail. We were advised by the police that they receive alot of complaints from tourist’s regarding this same matter and advised us to contact the tourism board and also open a civil case. We are in the process of doing so. Feel so scammed by this company and sad that a Tsitsikamma Village, has an establishment like this operating in this area.
