What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

After being picked up from your hotel approximately at 01.30 am from your hotel, you'll be driven by comfortable vehicle to the foothills of Mount Batur, the second highest point in Bali. After an approximately an hour hike, you'll arrive at the sacred volcano, which reaches over 5600 feet (1717 m) in height.

At the mountain, your expert guide will give you a basic briefing so you can complete your trek up to the peak in complete safety. Ready? Let's start climbing!

Having reached the summit crater of the Batur Volcano, take in the incredible nature around you as you watch a spectacular sunrise. You'll be left speechless by this truly unforgettable sight. Enjoy your well-deserved breakfast with amazing views.

Before you make your way back down, you'll have the opportunity to explore three more volcanic craters, which are still active today. To complete the experience, visit home-made local Bali coffee on the way back to your hotel.

Absolutely fantastic experience! My driver was Ketut and he was 10/10, very friendly, talkative, attentive and professional. He was also a very safe driver for the whole journey (over 2 hours!). I would highly recommend him! My guide was Nick and he was also 10/10, friendly and talkative the whole journey. He was also amazing at taking photos and videos of the hike. The hike was made all the more enjoyable because he was the guide. If you get the chance to do this hike I’d highly recommend Nick (and Ketut!) Thanks
