We have done the tapas experience tour with Valentin. He showed us around the great beautiful old city and told us about history, the typical things of the Valencia people but what we enjoyed most of all, he let us TASTE Valencia! It was an experience of tasting, with a begin and an end. He built it up from sweet to savoury and with the most tasteful drinks it was great! We asked him to talk in Spanish because we have Spanish lessons, but when he thought we didn't understand it, he explained more in English. It happend very naturally. Valentin is very friendly, calm and relaxed person to talk with. He gave us good tips for the next day, so we went to the market, you have to see it! We enjoyed Valencia and learned a lot from Valentin. Good food, good places and good Spanish! Thank you Valentin ! If you’re still traveling we’ve included some more local experiences in Valencia that we're really passionate about. You can also find more unique things to do with locals on your next adventure. We had a very inspiring food tour through Valencia by Maria! She led us to special -to us unknown- places with good food and drinken. Maria is a wonderful guide and a teacher of history which we love! The food and drinks were delicious. Sampling a bit of eveything and finishing with aqua de Valencia. We had a great time and will book again for one of the other tours. Highly recommended.

Our guide Maria was great and gave us a good introduction to a lot of features in the old town as well as being ready and able to answer questions on a number of topics about the city. The various food stops were all busy (proving just how good they were) but spaces had been pre-booked for us. Maria had selected a great set based upon her detailed knowledge, prior visits to them (and many others) and a deep interest in the subject. A first-class experience.

Maria led us through lots of twists and turns, small alleys and lovely plazas as we tasted our way through old town neighborhoods in Valencia. Maria has lived here for some time and knows the city well. She you took us to little gems with warm, friendly service. We had anchovies, sardines, mushrooms, jamon croquettes, the most wonderful local cheese with tomato jam, olives, vermouth, agua Valencia, local vino blanco and more. It was a relaxing pace and overall a lovely laid back, incredibly tasty tour.
