Fine tour of Victoria. Plenty of interesting stops. Travelled through all of the city. Busses only ran once an hour and it would have been nice to have more running more often

We covered a lot of area in a short time and the views were terrific. It would be hard to tour the place without your own vehicle but the hoho bus was just perfect for our purpose. We didn’t get a chance to really hop on and hop off cuz we were kinda cold but it was just what we needed to get a glimpse of what the city looks like.

This was a great way to see Victoria. Sean gave us lots of interesting information on our way to and from the gardens. We could not have asked for a better experience.

The first part of this trip, the driver was Pam, was excellent, if we had stayed on her bus this would be a five star review. Pam was a careful and considerate driver who engaged with her passengers when the tape fell silent. Unfortunately, after we hopped off the bus we hopped on later had a different driver. He ignored me when I thanked him for stopping and he drove away as my wife and I, both in our late 60's and using walking sticks, were still ascending the stairs. I banged on the floor of the upper deck with my stick to no avail. My wife only just regained her balance to avoid falling. The bus had arrived three minutes early, so there was no need to rush on especially as at other stops he waited several minutes. But not at the Oak Bay Hotel stop. Apparently, they serve excellent refreshments here, but by the time the tape had explained this, the driver had already pulled away. The driver never once engaged with his passengers and in our case showed a cavalier attitude to passenger safety. A poor do.
