You will be able to take in the tastes, sights and sounds that have taken the local wine makers decades to perfect. This tour celebrates the islands local charm and we'll take you off the beaten track to experience the magic Waiheke has to offer.  We’ve sampled it all and only bring you to the places we’ve fallen in love with. All the hard work is done for you. Your tour starts with a pick up from anywhere on Waiheke Island and includes wine tastings at 3 boutique vineyards (excludes lunch & ferry tickets).

A quick look and photo opportunity on the picturesque oneroa beach before heading off to lovely lookout over Palm beach

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Stonyridge Vineyard, 80 Onetangi Road, Waiheke Island 1971, New Zealand

Or another winery depending on availability this is our first of three wine tasting stops on our tour. Guests will learn about the wine and get to do tastings immerse themselves in the microclimate that is Onetangi Valley

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Batch Winery, 129 Carsons Road Thomas Estate Vineyard, Auckland, Waiheke Island 1971 New Zealand

This is the second wine stop to taste three wines before having lunch (at your own cost) enjoying the views at the most elevated winery on waiheke island

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Mudbrick Vineyard, 126 Church Bay Road, Oneroa, Auckland, Waiheke Island 1971 New Zealand

Our last wine tasting stop at Waiheke's most instagrammed winery with views of Auckland and our surrounding Hauraki Gulf.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Matiatia Wharf, Ocean View Road, Oneroa, Waiheke Island 1081, New Zealand

For the 4pm ferry back to Auckland City or guests are welcome to end the tour at Mudbrick winery (30 minute walk back to the ferry) as well as you can request to be dropped off at oneroa for shopping or a swim at oneroa beach and make your own way back to the ferry terminal

If you are coming from Downtown Auckland, you will need to catch the 10 am Fullers ferry to Waiheke Island. Please arrive at the terminal 30 minutes before your ferry departs as ferries fill up quickly (especially during the Summer months) and tickets are sold on a first-in-line first-served basis. Your tour guide will meet you when you arrive at Matiatia Ferry terminal at approximately 10:35 am and will be holding a WaiTiki Tours sign. If you are already on Waiheke Island just let us know where you're staying and we'll arrange to pick you up from your accommodation.

It was a great tour of Waiheke island. The wine tastings were great and the beaches we visited were beautiful. Well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful Waiheke with Vicky, who was very lovely and knowledgeable. We started the tour at the harbour, and it was nice as it was just us and one other couple. We were brought to three stunning beaches, before we visited the three wineries. We tasted delicious wine, had a lovely lunch at a place with the most stunning vista and just had a brilliant day. 10/10 would recommend.

We particularly enjoyed the first tasting, at Stonyridge Vineyard - Gary gave us lots of interesting information about both the wine we were drinking and the history of the vineyard. And the view from Mudbrick Vineyard was amazing! We appreciated the stops at the beach for photos and to run our toes in the Pacific. Also loved Nicky’s personal style as a tour guide - so fun to see it all through a local’s eyes. Aimee and Bernie Doyle

Awesome tour, amazing driver, beautiful island - incredible. Wine was outstanding too. Food as well, oysters incredible!

This was an okay experience. The drive was very long over bumpy roads so please be aware of that. Our driver was great although he stopped several times on the way to be sick. The Cherry Tree Hill was anticlimactic and not worth the extra drive time. The lunch and Bathsheba was beautiful. Snorkeling was fun. Scheduled pick up time was before the stated pick up window and 2 hrs, 15 min before the stated excursion start time without any explanation and minimal notice (informed about 18 hours before pick up) Would have preferred more notice of these changes with an explanation. Also La Vacanza Travel listing stated 10 person tour max, we were a group of 10, and then they added more to our group.
